Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandru Florea.
Hi Alexandru, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The story of FootNet or Soccer Tennis started long before,it’s the story of a great and spectacular sport,also of a strong community and life experience.
I started the USA FootNet Federation in close collaboration with two other sport professionals,Mihai Popa and Marius Mititel with the idea of creating an official and legitimate governing body,capable to grow,organize and support the Sport of FootNet nationwide and bring the players,referees,coaches,fans and sports enthusiasts together under a “welcoming umbrella”.
The Mission:
To Govern, Promote, Develop, and Protect the Sports of FootNet ,SoccerTennis and Futnet in the United States and ensure that every member of the Federation follows the Rules and Regulations of the Sport. with respect to the Principles of Democracy, Independence, Fairness, Solidarity, Diversity, and Transparency.
More importantly, the US FootNet Federation will endeavor to instill in every member, the virtues of achieving excellence through personal determination, fair play, and deliberate practice.
We are based in Dallas but we have clubs and players in most states,we organize and oversee the National Championship and we select the National Team for the World Cup and other International competitions.
In 2024 we had two teams participating in the World Cup and World Championship in Hungary and Romania and we are proud and grateful for the opportunity to join the international community and represent USA at the highest level..
Our sport is growing and becoming more popular and I am happy to put the effort and energy into it,an opportunity for the young players and future champions to belong together and have guidance and support.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road is never smooth but that’s the beauty part of it,the passion and the enthusiasm are prevalent and always help me navigate on smooth or bumpy roads!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a sports professional,athlete and coach,dedicated to be a small part of other athletes and sports enthusiasts well being,fitness journey and sport achievements.
I am specialized in gymnastics and soccer,I coached national level athletes for about 20 years in Texas and I am grateful and proud for the opportunity I have to coach and teach the young generation.
I do personal training and fitness for fitness enthusiasts and athletes using specific techniques and methods in relationships with my experience and expertise in human development,body composition and physical activities.
Nothing sets me apart from others,I just love to belong in the sport community,teach and learn and give my best to help others.
What makes you happy?
Sports make me happy,and healthy and proud,because it is accessible,brings people together,gives me energy and joy,makes lifestyle changes and gives fantastic health benefits.
