Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgane Anderson.
Hi Morgane, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been a romantic at heart. I was born in Paris, and even during my years practicing law, I was the person who paid attention to wedding dresses, venues, and the emotion behind beautifully crafted experiences. I always knew I wanted a big, meaningful wedding of my own one day.
When my husband, who is Texan, and I planned our wedding in Paris in 2019, everything clicked. I loved every part of the process. The creativity, the organization, the problem-solving, the beauty, the emotion. It didn’t feel like a project. It felt like something I was meant to do.
What stood out to me during that time was how different American expectations were compared to the traditional French approach to weddings. That contrast shaped everything. When I created Morgane Anderson Events, I built an agency designed specifically for international couples, especially Americans, who dream of getting married in France or Italy and want a level of service, communication, and experience that reflects their culture and standards.
I eventually left the legal world and built the agency from the ground up. A little later, my two sisters joined me, and Morgane Anderson Events naturally grew into a family project where each of us brings our own strengths.
Today, we plan and design destination weddings for couples who want celebrations that feel intentional, elegant, and deeply personal. My legal background still influences the way I work – structure, clarity, and precision – but it’s matched with creativity, emotion, and a genuine love for the beauty of a wedding day. At the heart of it all is the same feeling I had when I planned my own: this is a moment people remember for the rest of their lives.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building a business in the wedding industry is a roller coaster. There are incredible highs, and there are moments where you wonder why you chose a path with so many moving parts. But I think that’s actually what I love about it. Every challenge forces you to rethink, refine, and grow. I’m constantly looking for better processes, better experiences for my clients, better vendor relationships and better ways to anticipate the unexpected.
And in this industry, the unexpected is always around the corner. Weather is the perfect example. This year at Château de Villette, in the middle of June, we suddenly found ourselves with sixty degrees and rain. Not exactly what the bride had imagined for her outdoor ceremony. We had to shift to our plan B at the last minute, manage logistics, manage guest flow, and most importantly, manage the bride’s disappointment. She cried, and honestly, I understood her. I’ve been in her shoes.
Moments like these are not easy but they’re the heart of this work. You adapt, you stay calm, you find solutions and in the end, you give people a day they’ll remember for the right reasons. It’s not a smooth road, but it’s incredibly rewarding and I wouldn’t choose anything else.
As you know, we’re big fans of Morgane Anderson Events. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Morgane Anderson Events is a boutique wedding planning and design agency that I founded after planning my own wedding. Today, I brought my two sisters in to support me and together we help international couples plan refined, intentional celebrations in France’s most iconic destinations.
We specialize in full service planning and design, with a focus on multi-day weddings for couples who want a thoughtful, elegant, and seamless experience from start to finish. What we are known for is our blend of structure and creativity. My background as a lawyer allows me to approach planning with clarity, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility, while the three of us bring a shared love for aesthetics, hospitality, and storytelling.
What sets us apart is the way we work as a family. There is a natural trust and intuition between us that our clients feel immediately. We take on a limited number of weddings each year so we can be fully present, truly listen, and create a planning journey that feels tailored, calm, and personal.
I’m most proud of the standard of service we provide and the relationships we build. Our couples often tell us they feel supported, understood and protected and to me, that is the heart of luxury service.
What I want readers to know is that our work goes far beyond logistics. We create atmospheres, emotions, and memories that last long after the wedding day. Every detail matters, and every story deserves to be told beautifully.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’m absolutely a risk taker. I actually enjoy it. One of the quotes that has guided me for years is from Muhammad Ali: “I don’t believe in taking the right decision, I take a decision and make it right.” That’s exactly how I live.
Leaving a ten–year career as a lawyer to start a wedding planning company in an industry I knew nothing about is probably the best example. Most people would have taken time to prepare, test the waters, build a backup plan. I didn’t. I resigned, and I jumped straight into building something completely new. And I loved every second of that uncertainty.
I believe risks create momentum. They force you to grow, adapt, and trust yourself. In the wedding industry, risk is part of the everyday reality anyway: unpredictable weather, shifting plans, human emotions, hundreds of moving parts. You learn to decide quickly, confidently, and intentionally.
So yes, I take risks. Not recklessly, but with conviction. I don’t wait for the “perfect” choice. I choose, I commit, and I make it right. I think that’s been the defining thread of my life and my business.
