Hi Big Lando, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was always a creative soul with aspirations to impact others to give them a certain energy to connect to and a Brand that they can relate to that doesn’t feel like they’re just getting sold something. I started vlogging and doing videos with my kids in 2023 weeks call it “Big Lando On The Go” then I created a brand and named it “Unkanny” and we live by a slogan “Be Your Own Hero” it brings power to those that connect with us we’re a community
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it hasn’t at all because along the road you take hits you lose confidence at times and life can get ugly at times so it’s always something, the biggest struggles since I’ve started was losing my sister (Attiya) two years ago then losing my firstborn son (Marxx) last Christmas. Those devastated me and nearly paralyzed me.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I create content, design clothes, review food and Vlog. I’m known for my energy, my personality and just being myself. I’m most proud of the fact that I have been able to impact lives in a positive way and give people something to look forward to, I’m different from others because I truly love what I do and I just want to make people feel great about themselves
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Working out, eating well, traveling, taking care of my family and pursuing my dreams. I love those things because it serves a purpose bigger than me and that means everything
