Meet Noelle Carter of Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noelle Carter.

Hi Noelle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Vibe was born at the intersection of frustration, faith, and a quiet knowing that I was meant for more. At the time, my lash technician was constantly traveling, and while the inconvenience seemed small, it sparked a deeper realization—I felt out of alignment in my career. I was working in Human Resources, successful by all outward measures, yet unfulfilled. I craved creativity, flexibility, and a way to pour into women in a meaningful, confidence-building way.

In October, I became certified and began lashing from my home, setting up and breaking down a lash bed in the middle of my living room for every client. What started as a modest operation quickly gained momentum. By March, I had built a clientele of more than 40 women and opened my first location in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

From the beginning, Vibe specialized in natural-looking lash sets. As a mother of four, I understood what it felt like to put yourself last while still longing to feel polished and confident. I was intentional about creating services that felt luxurious yet remained accessible—because beauty should never feel out of reach.

In 2020, I relocated to Dallas with the intention of operating as a mobile technician. I quickly learned that the scale of the city and the physical demands of transporting equipment made that model unsustainable. I upgraded my apartment and continued operating from a home studio, refining the Vibe experience even in an intimate setting.

After securing my first studio in Dallas, I was forced to close due to mold in the building, bringing my business back into my one-bedroom apartment. That season was difficult and humbling—it felt like starting over. But my faith carried me, and I chose to rebuild rather than retreat.

I leaned into grassroots marketing, social media, and relentless visibility—passing out business cards and flyers everywhere I went, from Target to the grocery store to drive-thru windows. I showed up consistently, believing in my vision before it was widely seen.

Today, Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio stands as a testament to resilience, purpose, and consistency. What began in a living room with a folding lash bed has grown into a brand rooted in experience, excellence, and empowerment—proof that when passion meets perseverance, the results can be transformative.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Some challenges:
Starting in a city where I didn’t know anyone and had no built-in network or referrals

Entering a highly saturated beauty market with well-known, established artists who already had strong visibility and loyal followings

Building credibility and trust from scratch without name recognition

Balancing full-time work in Human Resources while growing a new business
Learning how to scale quickly after my business grew faster than expected

Transitioning from a mobile technician model in Dallas and realizing it was physically unsustainable

Creating a professional, luxury client experience within a home studio environment

Opening my first Dallas studio and being forced to close due to mold in the building

Rebuilding my business again from a one-bedroom apartment after the shutdown

Managing self-doubt while competing with artists who appeared more established and visible

Marketing without a budget by relying on social media, word of mouth, and grassroots efforts

Consistently promoting my business in everyday spaces—grocery stores, Target, and drive-thru windows

Staying resilient through financial, emotional, and physical exhaustion

Trusting my faith and vision during seasons where progress felt slow or invisible

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio?
What do you do? What do you specialize in / what are you known for?

I am the owner and lead artist of Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio, where I specialize in natural-looking lash extensions and permanent makeup services. I’m best known for enhancing features in a way that feels effortless, refined, and wearable—never overdone. My signature is soft, customized work that elevates a client’s natural beauty while fitting seamlessly into their lifestyle.

What sets you apart from others?

What sets me apart is my intentional approach to both artistry and experience. Every service is fully customized, not templated, and rooted in listening to the client first. I don’t chase trends—I focus on timeless results, technical precision, and long-term satisfaction. I also bring a high level of professionalism, structure, and care from my background in Human Resources, which shows in how I run my business, educate clients, and create consistency in service quality.

What are you most proud of brand-wise?

I’m most proud of building a brand rooted in resilience, integrity, and accessibility. Vibe was built from the ground up—through multiple relocations, rebuilds, and challenges—yet it has remained consistent in quality and intention. I’m especially proud that Vibe delivers a luxury experience without making clients feel excluded or intimidated. The trust my clients place in me is the greatest marker of success.

What do you want readers to know about your brand, offerings, and services?

Vibe is more than a beauty studio—it’s an experience designed to help women feel confident, cared for, and seen. Every service is thoughtfully curated to enhance natural beauty while saving time and simplifying daily routines. Whether it’s lash extensions or permanent makeup, my goal is to deliver results that feel elevated, empowering, and sustainable. Vibe exists to remind women that feeling polished and confident is not a luxury—it’s a form of self-investment.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck. I believe in alignment and God’s timing. What may look like good or bad luck from the outside were actually moments of redirection and preparation. The delays, setbacks, and even the doors that closed weren’t random—they were necessary.

There were seasons where nothing moved as quickly as I wanted, and others where opportunities came faster than expected. In hindsight, every pause, pivot, and challenge aligned me more precisely with where I was meant to be. I wasn’t late, and I wasn’t early—I was being positioned.

In my life and business, success has come from trusting the process, staying obedient to the vision, and moving forward even when the full picture wasn’t clear. Alignment—not luck—has shaped my journey, and God’s timing has always proven to be exact.
