Hi Amadis, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Amadis Bennin.
I am a young Latina entrepreneur, an esthetician Acné specialist —and also a coach in hormonal health.
My story didn’t start in a beautiful studio or with many resources. It began in my mom’s living room, with very few tools but a heart full of dreams. I was only 19 years old, newly arrived in this country, not knowing anything, unsure of where to start… but full of determination to move forward.
Little by little, I followed my heart, trusted my dreams, and began building something that once felt far away but has now become a reality.
In 2021, I officially opened my business and became the owner of Amaskin Studio, a space created to help women regain their confidence, improve their skin, and feel beautiful from the inside out.
As I continued growing and preparing myself, Amaskin Academy was born—where I teach online and in-person classes for aspiring estheticians who want to learn with me and elevate their careers.
Today, after many challenges and a lot of hard work, I can proudly say that my goals are becoming real. I am now located in a larger, more professional space, where I welcome my clients with the same love and dedication I dreamed of years ago:

Entrepreneurship has been a long, challenging, and beautiful journey… and every day I am reminded of how much I love what I do. I am passionate about helping women heal their skin, boost their self-esteem, and feel proud of who they are.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any business, getting started wasn’t easy. I began in the middle of COVID-19, in a new country, with a different language, and without knowing anyone. Finding clients at first was a real challenge, but none of that stopped me. Step by step, I built my business, and today we are moving forward successfully.

At Amaskin Studio, I specialize in acne treatments and I’m also expanding into anti-aging care.
What makes my work unique is that I personally struggled with acne, so I truly understand the emotional and physical journey behind it. That experience allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level and guide them with empathy and real understanding.
I use professional-grade products and personalized treatment plans to make sure each client receives the highest quality of care. But beyond results, what matters most to me is the experience. I love creating a space where every visit feels healthy, fun, and genuinely supportive — a place where my clients feel understood, cared for, and confident in their skin journey.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I believe the most important quality for my success has been empathy.
Having personally experienced what many of my clients go through, especially with acne, allows me to connect with them authentically and understand not only their skin needs but also their emotions and concerns. This connection has helped me build trust, provide high-quality service, and truly make a difference in each client’s experience.
