Today we’d like to introduce you to Eydie Robinson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I launched Robinson Anderson Publishing in 2020 after navigating the publishing world on my own—and realizing just how hard it was to find real help. When I reached out to people who were already experienced, they weren’t willing to share guidance. When I approached companies, their fees were outrageous. That left me researching everything myself, which was overwhelming and time-consuming.
Eventually, I completed a Book Publishing certification to deepen my knowledge. That training not only helped me successfully publish my first book, it positioned me to help others who started asking for support. That’s when it clicked: why not build a business that gives people true start-to-finish publishing help at a price they can actually afford—without forcing them to hand over royalties?
That idea became Robinson Anderson Publishing.
Since then, I’ve helped 13 individuals become authors and have published 15 books, with three more on the way in the coming months. And this is just the beginning.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Getting started came with a steep learning curve—especially stepping into business ownership for the first time. I made mistakes, but I learned. I faced frustration, but I pushed through.
But 2024 was the year that almost broke me. My business was hacked, and it hit everything—my social media pages, my financial accounts, and so much more. It shook me to my core. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and genuinely ready to walk away.
Then, right in that moment of wanting to give up, people reached out asking for help with their books. I hesitated because the truth is, I had to rebuild everything from the ground up, and I’m still rebuilding. But I also knew that if I walked away, those people might lose the opportunity to move forward. And what if my support was the only thing standing between them and their dream of becoming an author?
So yes—there have been challenges, and I’m realistic enough to know there will be more. But I’m not letting any of it stop me. Helping others tell their stories is the reason I started Robinson Anderson Publishing, and that purpose is bigger than any setback.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Robinson Anderson Publishing?
Robinson Anderson Publishing is a start-to-finish self-publishing company built for everyday people who have a story to tell but don’t know where to begin. I specialize in guiding new and aspiring authors through the entire publishing journey—from manuscript development, editing, and formatting to cover design, ISBN registration, and full book launch support. My clients don’t have to worry about navigating confusing processes, losing creative control, or signing away royalties. They own their work completely.
What sets my business apart is the personal, hands-on approach. I’ve been in the shoes of the authors I help. I know what it feels like to ask for guidance and not receive it, and I know how discouraging it can be to see publishing companies charge fees that are simply unrealistic. That experience shaped my mission: provide quality, affordable publishing support without taking advantage of people’s dreams.
I’m most proud that Robinson Anderson Publishing has helped 13 individuals become authors and has published 15 books so far, with more on the way. Every project is a reminder that this brand exists for a purpose—to make publishing accessible. My clients come to me feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or intimidated by the process, and they leave as confident, proud authors holding a finished book they can call their own.
What I want readers to know is that Robinson Anderson Publishing is more than a business. It’s a bridge. It’s a support system. It’s a place where first-time authors can feel seen, heard, and guided. Whether you already have a manuscript or just an idea, I meet you where you are and walk with you through every step until your book is complete.
The bottom line: If you’re ready to publish, but you want transparency, affordability, and someone who genuinely cares about your success, Robinson Anderson Publishing is where you’ll find it.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memories are the moments I shared with my mother and grandmother. They were the heartbeat of my upbringing—steady, encouraging, and always pushing me to pursue the things I loved. Their presence, their words, and their belief in me shaped who I am. They motivated me to follow my passions, even when I didn’t fully see my own potential. Those moments with them are the memories that still keep me grounded and inspired today.
