Story & Lesson Highlights with Brittney Jones

We recently had the chance to connect with Brittney Jones and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Honestly, spending time with my daughter. Watching her learn new words, get excited about ABCs, colors, and little things—she brings me this pure kind of joy that nothing else does. And working on my herbal products and planners makes me happy too. Creating things with my hands, learning about herbs… it feels like I’m pouring into myself and my future.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Brittney, and I’m the creator of We Grow & We Glow LLC, a brand dedicated to natural beauty, healing, and handmade care. I make all-natural hair and skin products using herbs, organic ingredients, and formulas I craft myself. What makes my brand special is that it was born from my own healing journey as a mom—learning how to nourish my body, my skin, and my spirit in the most natural way.

I’m also expanding into herbal education and digital wellness products like planners, guides, and ebooks, because I believe beauty starts from within. Everything I create is meant to help women glow—inside and out—while feeling grounded, nurtured, and seen.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people is usually a mix of things: unmet needs, feeling unheard, constant misunderstanding, broken trust, or emotional wounds that never get talked about. Sometimes it’s pride, sometimes it’s fear, and sometimes it’s simply the slow drift that happens when people stop showing up for each other in the small ways that matter.

What restores those bonds is the opposite—honesty, accountability, empathy, and consistency. Real healing happens when people are willing to listen without defensiveness, apologize without excuses, show effort without being asked, and choose connection over ego. Bonds are rebuilt through small daily actions that say, “You matter, and I’m here,” not just big words.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me things success never could—like how strong I really am, even on the days I felt broken. It showed me who I am without the praise, without the stability, without the comfort. It taught me patience, humility, empathy, and how to rebuild myself when everything feels heavy.

It taught me to listen to my own voice, to trust my instincts, and to honor my feelings instead of letting other people define them. Success can make you feel proud, but suffering makes you grow. It strips away illusions and leaves you with the truth of who you are—and that truth is where real strength comes from.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to building my brand, We Grow & We Glow LLC, no matter how long it takes. It’s more than a business to me—it’s a mission. I believe in natural healing, herbal wisdom, and helping women glow from the inside out. Even if the process is slow, even if life gets messy, I’m committed to creating products, guides, and resources that uplift people.

This is something I’m building for my future, my daughter’s future, and for anyone who needs a reminder that healing and growth are possible. I’m dedicated to it for the long run.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when it’s just me and my daughter—those quiet moments where I’m watching her learn, laugh, or just exist in her little world. That’s when everything slows down and my spirit feels calm.

I also feel at peace when I’m creating—mixing herbs, making products, or working on my planners and ebooks. It gives me a sense of purpose and reminds me that I’m building something beautiful, even in the middle of chaos. Those moments make me feel grounded and connected to myself again.
