Hidden Gems: Meet Constance Escalante of Miracle Leaf North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Constance Escalante.

Hi Constance, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Our journey started at the Dallas Franchise Show, where we discovered Miracle Leaf and immediately felt aligned with its mission. We weren’t just looking for a business we were looking for a way to make a real impact in our community through wellness and education.

After learning more about the Texas Compassionate Use Program and seeing how many people were struggling to find safe, legal access to medical cannabis, we knew this was something worth building. We opened Miracle Leaf North Dallas to help bridge that gap providing guidance, telehealth access, and compassionate support for patients navigating chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, sleep issues, and other qualifying conditions.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Early on, the company’s CEOs faced unexpected personal health challenges, which meant corporate support was more limited than anticipated. That required us to problem solve quickly, adjust our expectations, and figure out much of the operation on our own.

While challenging, that experience ultimately made us stronger and more resourceful. It pushed us to become deeply hands-on and more connected to our patients and community. Today, we’re proud to serve patients across Texas, with a continued focus on education, accessibility, and trust. Our goal has always been simple: to help people feel better, legally and responsibly, while changing the conversation around medical cannabis in Texas.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Miracle Leaf North Dallas is a patient focused medical cannabis wellness clinic and education hub serving Texans statewide through the Texas Compassionate Use Program. We specialize in helping patients understand whether they qualify for medical cannabis, guiding them through the process with licensed physicians via telehealth, and ensuring they feel informed, supported, and respected every step of the way.

What sets us apart is our emphasis on education and individualized care. Many of our patients come to us feeling overwhelmed, skeptical, or unsure because of the stigma and confusion surrounding medical cannabis in Texas. We take the time to explain the law, dosing basics, product types, and safety considerations so patients can make confident, informed decisions. We are known for being approachable, honest, and never rushing people through a process that can feel intimidating.

Brand wise, we are most proud of the trust we have built, often with people who never imagined they would consider medical cannabis. We operate with integrity, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility, especially in a state where access is limited and misinformation is common. Our goal is not just certification. It is long term wellness, legal compliance, and changing the conversation around medical cannabis in Texas through education and care.

What we want readers to know is that medical cannabis in Texas is legal for qualifying conditions, and help is available. Our services are designed to remove barriers, reduce fear, and make the process accessible, whether someone is managing chronic pain, PTSD, anxiety, sleep disorders, or other qualifying conditions. At the end of the day, Miracle Leaf North Dallas exists to help Texans feel better, legally and responsibly, while building a more informed and compassionate wellness community.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What we love most about Dallas is the people. It is a city driven by innovation, entrepreneurship, and strong community values, and we meet open minded individuals every day who are focused on improving their quality of life.

The biggest challenge is the lingering conservative outlook around cannabis. Even though medical cannabis is legal, stigma still exists. We have seen physicians and high profile individuals seek care quietly to protect their reputations. That tells us there is still work to do through education and open conversation, and we see that as an opportunity for growth.
