Hi Vincent, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
After college basketball my friend have me a job at his dad’s insurance company. I was a unsuccessful life insurance rep there for a couple years. Another friend got me on at another insurance company where I worked for a couple years. The next job was as a sales producer for a Allstate Agent for 1 year. I became a Allstate Agency Owner May 12, 1996. 29 years ago and I am truly loving and grateful to serve and educate consumers about insurance and financial service products.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a roller coaster. The main struggle was CAPITAL. Without capital you’re playing defense just trying not to lose. With capital you’re playing offense. You are playing to win. Nothing comes close to it. It solves problems, buys time, retain great staff, give you time to learn your business and overcome mistakes. Develop processes. Allows you to sleep at night.
