Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Gosh, like many others, my journey into the real estate space started with a few online searches that led to a few more YouTube videos of trying to understand the missing pieces.
You always hear of the “get rich using no money out of pocket,” I, too, fell into that trap, but only for approx. 5 min. You see, I was previously a Fortune 500 business consultant, and having had a very simple and proven process to doing business, real estate would be no different.
Marketing – conversations – contracts – fulfillment – easy right? Nope… So, I started calling homeowners from a list I printed off the computer at the library and convincing those folks I was their buyer… I would then find myself contracted in month one with over 20 houses and not knowing what to do.
I then found a local investor to whom I tried to sell them and only ended up losing 5 or so of those deals, which drove me to realize this was real. The team I had found was hiring, so I went through their hiring process, was hired, and pitched them my consulting services to build a sales and acquisition team.
They were not having that and actually got pretty upset, feeling as if I had wasted their time. The owner called me a couple of weeks later and asked me to come in. When we met, he said, “If you can do that again with our leads, we should talk about a partnership.” Referring to the number of houses contracted…
So, I did; over the next 90 days, I would contract 37 houses, and we would close on 35 of the 37, making millions of dollars in a massively short amount of time. I was hooked, not only on the business but also on helping people out of tough situations in or around their real estate financial needs.
Fast forward to 2025, and my teams and I have closed thousands of transactions and been blessed to help so many people!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Heck no – business is not easy, and there are always a lot of road bumps along the way.
One in particular that jumps out at me is this – we contracted a house, partnered with a rehab guy, and halfway through the renovation of the house, we found a dead body in the concrete. That sucks, no matter how ya look at it.
We had to unwind and undo that deal – prosecute and go through the investigative procedures, then buy it back from the rightful heir of the deceased – then start over the rehab because it was vandalized in the process, sitting empty.
That was a big headache, and we barely broke even at the end of the day.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Risk is inevitable and a must – if you do not take risks, you never see a reward. They say slow and steady wins the race, but I do not believe that.
I believe consistency and knowing when to leverage opportunity against weighted risk – produce success that others only hope for, and hoping does not get anything done.
