We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Lately I have been going to the halls more for Jehovah witnessing, getting more closer to God in my life , he has been bringing me so much joy , and another person who has been bringing me joy is my Girlfriend Sydney , who is an amazing women and sweetest women. I have ever met.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello my name is D’Aunte , I have been doing music and acting over the past 5 years now it has been amazing, I have been in movies , big Tv shows like “Land Man” , and currently doing a big movie that is still in the works called “Atonement”.
I grew up in Fort Worth , Texas , really searching for my talent seeing what will make people gravitate towards me and seeing what I can do to show people I can be the next up in this journey.
I took on singing and acting growing up , studying from people like Michael Jackson , Usher , Boyz 2 men, and etc , and when it came to acting my biggest inspirations was Denzel Washington. I’m currently on my clothing and cologne brand right now and excited for the world to see what I have coming.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship I’m currently in now has helped me to shape and see myself , My girlfriend Sydney is is very inspiring, smart , amazing , truly gifted in her personality and love for me.
She has helped me to find my true purposes in life, and have shaped my life and the way I look at things now , like I’m more positive, I’m more closer to God, and I’m more interested in the things I love to do now. Everything she has done has now brought out the greatest man In going to be for her.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
I feel like the fear of not being more confident in myself, I grew up always having to hear how I could never do anything and how I would never be a doctor, or a singer , musician, comedian and etc, I had a struggle of believing in myself once before cause anything I said I wanted to do it will always get shut down by family members or people I thought was friends, it was never a genuine professional criticism but instead it was more of them being malevolent and cruel.
But now I’m more confident in myself and had to find that in myself by looking deep within.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes the public version of me is the real me , I believe in being authentic and true to people , I grew in a house full of believers in God, one of the most important things I was taught is “being humble” , and to “Be myself” , I never liked to give people a false side of me , cause if I gotta give a person a fake side of me then I don’t need to be around them or them around me , but being real to yourself and real to others has always guided me into the way I need to go when I go out into the world.

I will regret not being a husband, I’ve always wanted to get married and to have a big house with children some day , I feel like that will bring me joy and peace , to know that I’m married to my beautiful wife , that I can be loyal , honest and true too , as well as showing my wife and kids unconditional love each day , but I know soon that is bound to happen most definitely.
