Story & Lesson Highlights with Anthony Williams Jr of Dallas, TX

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Anthony Williams Jr. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
In my past I was wondering, trying to find my way to higher wisdom. I was lost for a long time. Almost gave up looking for it. But something in me knew that I was different. So I bulldozed through the trees and currently making my own path. The path for transforming non believers into believers. Everybody on this has a gift from god. EVERYBODY! So my duty is to spread the message. This is my path… lol

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My Government name is Anthony Lamar Williams Jr. my nickname my family gave me the nickname Popcorn. But my Friends call me Oddy, which is short for Odyssey (like the Greek mythology). I’m born and raised on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio for 27 years, but now I reside in Dallas, Tx and been here for 9 years. I’m a Creative Artist, which for me means I just love to create. Whether it’s Music, Videography or Photography. But my first love was music. It came at a young age and grew overtime. In 2018 me and my boy Choice started ESO, which stands for Epic ShXt Only.
But it came more than a brand. This represents all of the folks that are suffering for adversities of the world wanted to break free. Believing yourself which no validation. Breaking generational curses that left you traumatized. Living free of worries. And pushing to be the person you were always meant to be. I am the example of overcoming those obstacles. And I know I can change the world. Because I believe in myself. That’s Epic ShXt.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Everyone did. All my like people said this. I thought i knew how to instill this into my life.
I hard to learn the hard way. But yeah… folks that know me knew I had that dog in me lol

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
You are your first priority. I spent so much time putting everything and everyone before me. And I was left with nothing.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’m me in public and social media. Nothing more to say.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
Working 2 9-5’s. But I’m investing in the life that is destined. I’m making good money now. But I want more!
