Hi Gladys, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Gladys Wiggins your Texas Realtor. My journey into real estate started with no prior knowledge or family background in real estate. I transitioned from serving as a correctional officer for several years and an assistant teacher. Prior to that I served in the United States Army straight from high school. Throughout my life, I’ve always been driven by a passion to help people and be part of something bigger than myself. (Cliche… I know) but real estate felt like the perfect fit for my next chapter, combining my love for helping others with my entrepreneurial spirit and love for content.
I never really imagined myself working a 9-to-5 forever, and I always knew I wanted to create my own path. Through prayer and perseverance, the journey unfolded naturally, and every day I’m learning something new and growing in my career. Even though I’m still at the beginning of this adventure, I’m excited and hungry for what the future holds, and I can’t wait to see how God continues to guide me in this journey. Special shoutout to my AMAZING mentor Brittany Dandridge! Brittany was God sent and without her I would’ve been going into uncharted waters alone.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was navigating a new industry without any prior experience or family guidance. There were moments of uncertainty, especially when it came to building my client base and gaining trust. Balancing the learning curve with my personal life was also tough at times. But each challenge taught me valuable lessons, and over time, I’ve grown more resilient and confident. The hurdles have only strengthened my commitment and passion for what I do.

I specialize in providing a personalized and luxurious experience, ensuring that each client feels valued and understood. Every single individual I work with holds high standardI’m known for my warm, approachable style and my commitment to making the home-buying process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
I’m particularly proud of the positive feedback and long-term relationships I’ve built. I hold myself to the highest standard as well as my team ensuring that our clients always receive the best of the best. One thing that might surprise people who don’t know me or my work is how deeply rooted my commitment to service is. Before real estate, I dedicated years to serving my community in various roles, from the military to teaching and corrections. Another surprising aspect is how much I value continuous learning and growth. Even though I’m relatively new in real estate, I’m constantly seeking out new knowledge, innovative strategies, and ways to better serve my clients.
Also, many don’t know that my faith plays a central role in both my personal and professional life. It’s what keeps me grounded and motivated every day. And finally, I’m passionate about giving back to the community, whether that’s through local events, volunteering, or supporting other small businesses.
