Meet Alen Kladusak of Ask4alen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alen Kladusak.

Hi Alen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I actually started off in real estate as an investor — not as a realtor. After more than a decade in sales, I began purchasing single-family homes as a way to build long-term financial stability. I loved studying deals, comparing markets, and learning what made some properties soar in value while others stalled.
My first investment property, though, didn’t go the way I hoped — I ended up losing $40,000. At the time, that loss felt like one of the worst moments in my investing journey. But looking back, it was one of the most valuable lessons I could have asked for. It forced me to dig deeper, understand the market better, fine-tune my analysis, and become a smarter, more strategic decision-maker.
That experience didn’t push me away from real estate — it ignited a passion to help others avoid the same pitfalls. I realized that with the right guidance, buyers and sellers could make confident decisions without the guesswork and costly mistakes I went through.
That’s what led me to become a full-time realtor — combining my investing background, sales experience, and hard-earned lessons to support my clients with honesty, insight, and a level of preparation that only real experience can bring.
My mission now is simple: to help every client feel informed, supported, and thrilled with their real estate journey — whether you’re buying your first home, selling, or building wealth in the market.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No — there have definitely been challenges along the way. One of the toughest was learning how to balance all the moving parts of a real estate transaction while still making sure every client felt heard and supported. Early on, I quickly realized that real estate isn’t just about listings and prices — it’s about people, emotions, timing, and communication. Figuring all of that out pushed me to grow in ways I didn’t expect, and it made me a better agent for the people I serve.

We’ve been impressed with Ask4alen, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ask4Alen started from a simple idea: people don’t need another pushy realtor, they need someone they can trust to shoot them straight. Real estate can be confusing, emotional, and overwhelming, and my job is to simplify it and protect my clients while helping them make smart decisions.

I’m known for being hands-on, responsive, and honest — even when honesty isn’t the easiest answer. I take a lot of pride in explaining the process clearly, setting real expectations, and making sure my clients understand why we’re doing something, not just what we’re doing.

What sets me apart is that I treat this like a relationship business, not a transaction business. I care just as much about how someone feels during the process as I do about the final numbers. Most of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients, and that’s something I’m extremely proud of because it means people trust me enough to send their friends and family my way.

Over the last year, I’ve focused on building a strong personal brand backed by real results, consistent communication, and a lot of work behind the scenes. I don’t try to be everything to everyone — I just try to show up, work hard, and take care of people the right way. That’s what Ask4Alen is all about.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I see risk as something you think through — you don’t dive in blindly, but you also don’t let fear stop you from going after opportunities that matter. A big part of risk for me has been learning from real experience. My mom used to tell me that losing money is like going to school and paying for an education — at first I didn’t really get it, but now I do. Every time I’ve taken a chance that didn’t work out, I walked away smarter and better prepared for the next decision — and that’s made me a stronger realtor overall. It’s not about being reckless, it’s about being willing to step out of your comfort zone, learn from what happens, and use that insight to help others make smart choices, too.
