Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Henry-Weaver.
Hi Lisa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in real estate. My parents got their brokers license in the late 1960’s. When my mother sold her first house she made a donation to the church and bought me a little pink bike with training wheels and a white basket. I got my license in 1998 and shortly after I got my Broker’s license. My first year in business I sold $7.5M in sales which was crazy for being in a smaller market. Real estate is my 3rd career. I started in accounting and then moved into Human Resources and worked my way up to a Director level. When our son was diagnosed I transitioned into real estate and worked along side my parents. I took over my parents brokerage in 1999 and ran it until 2019 when my mother’s health started to decline. At that time I merged in with Coldwell Banker Apex, Realtors. That was a great decision for me to give up the day to day management and to take care of my mom before her passing in June of 2020. My daddy continued to decline and I was able to care for him until he passed in August of 2023. My parents were my inspiration to succeed in this crazy business. My parents always taught me to give back to the community, which I still do to this day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think it’s been pretty smooth. In this business you learn how to survive with the ups and downs. When the market changes you change with it.

I hold my Texas Real Estate Broker’s license and work as a broker associate for Coldwell Banker, Apex. I have my own team of wonderful agents including my husband.
