Inspiring Conversations with Jason Page of New Life Restoration & Construction LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Page.

Hi Jason, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was raised in a military family, so discipline, responsibility, and structure were part of everyday life from the beginning. We moved often, and I learned early how to adapt, work hard, and take care of what was in front of me. That upbringing also sparked an early entrepreneurial mindset — whether it was mowing lawns, delivering papers, or finding ways to earn my own money, I learned young that effort and accountability mattered.

As I got older, my career took me through a wide range of industries — technical roles, sales, operations, and leadership. Across all of them, one pattern kept repeating: when systems were unclear or incentives were misaligned, people paid the price. I saw how chaos, shortcuts, and lack of transparency created stress for customers and instability for businesses.

Those experiences shaped how I think. I became less interested in quick wins and more focused on building processes that protect people, create clarity, and hold everyone — including me — accountable. That philosophy eventually led to the creation of New Life Restoration & Construction.

New Life was built around the idea of stewardship: doing the work the right way, documenting it clearly, and guiding homeowners with honesty rather than pressure. Over time, that approach evolved into what I call the “Watchman” mindset — being vigilant, proactive, and prepared before problems become emergencies.

Today, New Life serves homeowners across the Dallas–Fort Worth area with a focus on integrity, structure, and long-term protection. For me, success isn’t just about what we build, but how responsibly we build it and who we’re accountable to along the way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but it has been a rewarding one. I’ve learned to view challenges less as struggles and more as opportunities to improve, refine, and grow.

Along the way, I encountered moments that required difficult decisions — slowing down, changing direction, or walking away from situations that didn’t align with how I wanted to operate. Those moments weren’t setbacks; they were course corrections that helped sharpen my focus and reinforce my values.

One of the biggest lessons was realizing that structure and clarity are essential when you’re working with people’s homes and lives. When systems, communication, or expectations aren’t clear, stress follows. Building discipline, documentation, and accountability into the process turned those challenges into strengths.

At the core of it all, I love what I do because I’m in the people business. Helping homeowners navigate uncertainty, make informed decisions, and feel protected is what makes the work meaningful. The challenges along the way didn’t discourage me — they helped shape a business built on service, trust, and long-term responsibility.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
New Life Restoration & Construction is a Christian-owned company, and that matters to how we operate. Our faith sets the standard for transparency, accountability, and stewardship, but we don’t lead with sermons — we lead with how we work. We believe in doing the job right, in the open, and letting people make informed decisions without pressure.

We do roofing, but that’s only part of what we do. At our core, we’re a restoration and construction company. That includes storm damage, insurance-driven repairs, structural work, exterior renovations, and projects that require real coordination and follow-through — not just speed. Quite honestly, a lot of the time the right answer isn’t a full replacement. If a homeowner only needs a repair or maintenance, that’s exactly what we recommend. That probably makes me a terrible salesman by industry standards, and I’m completely fine with that.

A major part of our work is helping homeowners navigate the insurance process. I’ve been in home improvement since the mid-1990s and working storm and insurance claims since 1997. I’ve spent thousands of hours sitting at kitchen tables explaining policies, depreciation, partial payments, denials, supplements, and next steps. We routinely help manage claims — inspections, documentation, re-inspections — at a level people don’t expect from a contractor. We don’t charge public-adjuster fees, we don’t operate in gray areas, and we don’t push people into claims that don’t make sense. We lay out the facts clearly and let homeowners decide. When people stay in the process, our track record of successful outcomes has been exceptionally strong.

Behind the scenes, New Life operates as a coordinated system rather than a one-man show. Over the years, we’ve built a trusted network of highly skilled crews, inspectors, specialists, and suppliers who all work under the same expectations: follow code, document everything, communicate clearly, and don’t cut corners. We believe compliance protects everyone — homeowners, crews, and the project itself. If timing or circumstances require flexibility, the homeowner knows exactly what’s happening and why. Nothing is done in the dark.

The company is veteran-led and woman-co-founded, and that balance is a real strength. My business partner, Mary, brings an eye and intuition that you can’t teach. She’s the artist. She sees how things fit together — colors, materials, proportions — long before the work ever starts, and I’ve learned that part of my role is knowing when to listen. Men and women bring different strengths to the table, and that balance matters.

That’s where our Designer Touch approach comes in. When a project goes beyond just a roof — paint, trim, soffit, fascia, gutters, repairs — Mary leads the design coordination. We usually start with the home itself, often the brick, and work outward. She’ll take high-quality photos, sit down with actual shingle samples, and spend the time dialing in exterior color schemes that actually work together. Roofing, paint, trim, and gutters are all coordinated intentionally, not guessed at. Homeowners are given a few well-thought-out options, not a wall of colors. We joke about it, but it’s serious: don’t you buy no ugly roof. One bad color choice can throw off an entire house, and we care too much about the finished result to let that happen.

From a credibility standpoint, we back all of this up. We maintain a five-star Google Business profile built entirely on real customer experiences, hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and are certified with manufacturers like Malarkey, allowing us to offer enhanced warranty options. We serve the entire Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and work in one of the most demanding storm-driven markets in the country, where consistency and integrity matter far more than hype.

The name New Life is intentional. It reflects restoration in the fullest sense — homes restored properly, people given clarity instead of pressure, and decisions made openly and honestly. At the end of the day, we’re not here to sell people something they don’t need. We’re here to lay out the facts, do the work right, and help our community move forward with confidence.

New Life Restoration & Construction is a Christian-owned company, and that shows up in how we operate more than what we say. Our faith shapes our standards — honesty, accountability, and stewardship — and we try to let our work reflect that without preaching or pressure.

We do roofing, but at our core we’re a restoration and construction company. That includes storm damage, insurance-related repairs, exterior renovations, and structural work that requires real coordination and follow-through. A lot of the time, the honest answer isn’t a full replacement. If a homeowner only needs maintenance or targeted repairs, that’s exactly what we recommend. It probably makes me a terrible salesman by industry standards, but it’s how trust is built.

One thing that sets us apart is how we approach inspections. We offer comprehensive inspections for homeowners with roofs eight years and older, because that’s when wear, material changes, and storm exposure start to matter. These aren’t quick walk-arounds. We perform detailed physical inspections and, when appropriate, use drone technology for safety and accuracy. We document the entire roofing system — shingles, flashing, penetrations, storm-related wear, and related exterior issues — and generate a clear, photo-based report.

It’s a two-step process. Homeowners don’t even need to be present for the inspection itself. Once it’s complete, we schedule a separate time to review the findings together. We explain what we’re seeing, what repairs or maintenance may be needed, what replacement could look like, and what out-of-pocket considerations might apply. We’ll also share what we would do if it were our own house, then let the homeowner decide what makes sense for their situation.

If a homeowner chooses to move forward with a claim, we stay involved throughout the process. That includes meeting with the insurance adjuster, reviewing estimates, documenting damage, and helping ensure the scope reflects what’s actually needed. Our role is to keep things clear and organized so homeowners aren’t navigating the process alone.

Behind the scenes, New Life operates as a coordinated system. We work with a trusted network of skilled crews, inspectors, and specialists who follow code, document their work, and communicate clearly. We believe compliance and transparency protect everyone — homeowners, crews, and the project itself.

From a credibility standpoint, we back our work up. We maintain a five-star Google Business profile built entirely on real customer experiences, hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and are certified with manufacturers like Malarkey, which allows us to offer extended manufacturer warranty options. We also provide a lifetime workmanship warranty on our residential asphalt roofing installations, standing behind the quality of how the roof is installed.

We understand that every situation is different financially. Some homeowners prefer to pay cash, others need flexible options, and we’re able to offer solutions that fit a wide range of needs. We also extend courtesy pricing to seniors, veterans, first responders, teachers, and others who serve the community — not as a promotion, but as a reflection of our values.

The name New Life is intentional. It represents restoration done properly, clarity instead of pressure, and a process people can trust. Our goal is simple: be the roofer and contractor people trust — whether they need us today, years from now, or just want an honest answer.
