Hi eleysia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Nalu Skin & Body began with my own journey with acne, which led me to esthetician school in the fall of 2018! After completing the program in spring of 2019, I took my very first client June 1st, in my small suite! Very quickly I was able to give clients results through facials and beginner peels. I then decided to branch out into creating my own products for Nalu and after so much positive feedback, we continued to expand the line! As I grew and added more services, I knew it was time fore a bigger space. I opened my store front March of 2022, with 5 rooms and my very first employee! Since then we’ve continued to grow our services and team, while remaining focused on giving our clients the best care possible, and most importantly, results. Most recently, we doubled the size of our storefront this past year, September of 2025.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think something that will always be a hurdler is the constant learning. As a business owner you’re constantly learning on how to improve in all areas. You want to improve your craft, while also focusing on market, or getting better at being a team leader. There’s always room for improvement, so the improvement never stops. For example, you could re-do your website layout, then 6 months later you re-do it again, and that’s how you constantly advance your business. You never stop updating and striving for better, even if it’s something you just worked on. This can be quiet a struggle, because it feels like you never stop working. You sometimes feel like you can’t catch a break because you’re always focused on the next thing.

I think being able to go the extra mile for the business and for our client’s is the main reason for the success with Nalu. Whether it’s staying an extra hour to make sure we don’t turn away a client or staying up until 3am working on a new marketing strategy, always doing a little extra to reap the benefits later.
