Hi Paul, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
First off, I wanna say thank you for having me on your magazine. Yeah my name is Paul DuBriel I’m the founder and owner of **Lone Star Exterior LLC**, a DFW-based power washing company specializing in **mobile fleet washing** and commercial exterior cleaning. With **16+ years of hands-on truck washing experience**, Paul built his reputation by focusing on what fleet operators care about most: consistent results, reliable scheduling, and doing the job the right way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t assert that everything was without challenges. However, I had a clear vision of my objectives, which proved beneficial. I began operating commercial vehicles at approximately 22 years of age. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a truck driver, gaining significant insight into various operations, which subsequently led me to discover fleet washing. This is my primary occupation currently. The more challenging aspects involved establishing a franchise in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee, two locations where I was unfamiliar with the area and knew very few people. Despite these hurdles, we successfully achieved our goals. After dedicating about 15 years to this endeavor, I made the decision to return home. Consequently, I relocated back to Richardson, Texas, so that my children could graduate from Richardson High School, following in my footsteps, and become the second generation to graduate from that institution, a proud achievement. I vividly recall the difficulties of working tirelessly for years to build my company. Yet, I also cherish the memories of taking my family on boat trips and other family outings, which made all the effort worthwhile.
