I started Graceful Maids to create financial stability and a better life for my children after becoming a single mom at a young age. Juggling two toddlers, a full-time job, and pursuing a college degree taught me resilience, determination, and the importance of building a stable foundation for my family.
I come from a small town in Chihuahua, Mexico, and growing up, I never imagined I could accomplish as much as I have today. My inspiration came from my mother, an entrepreneurial force in the “pink world” of Mary Kay. Watching her lead teams, earn awards, and balance family life showed me the power of resilience, hard work, and ambition. The pink cars that represent Graceful Maids today are a tribute to that world—an homage to my mom’s drive and the limitless possibilities I learned from her example.
I wanted to build a business that would help moms like me—especially those with limited resources or support—by taking care of the things they don’t have time for, like cleaning and laundry. Graceful Maids, founded in 2016, provides trusted home cleaning services, and in 2023, I launched Graceful Laundress, a wash-and-fold service with pickup and delivery. Our mission is to offer essential services at affordable prices to help moms, young professionals, and busy families save time and enjoy the moments that matter most.
Today, I run both businesses with the same purpose in mind—serving families, empowering my team, and showing my children that with hard work, faith, and determination, even dreams that once felt impossible can become reality.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. The first years were nonstop—missed sports practices, late school pickups, holidays spent working—and every dollar I earned went back into the business. My goal was never to be just a cleaner with a mop, but to build a real business with teams, a fleet of vehicles, and opportunities for moms like me.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to stay humble and grateful, no matter the challenges. God gives the toughest battles to His strongest soldiers, and my journey has tested me in every way—long nights, missed moments with my kids, financial struggles, and endless obstacles. Through it all, I’ve learned that perseverance isn’t just about working hard; it’s about staying grounded, giving back, and remembering where you come from. Every challenge has reminded me to appreciate the victories, value the people who support me, and lift others as I climb. This lesson shapes how I run my business, treat my team, and serve my community, ensuring that every success is shared and that we never forget the importance of gratitude, compassion, and resilience.
