Hidden Gems: Meet Ben Antone of Kingdom Care Roofing and Construction LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Antone.

Hi Ben, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Ben Antone.
I’m a second-generation contractor—but for most of my life, construction wasn’t my dream. My dad taught me the ropes early: hard work, discipline, and dedication. Those lessons were constant growing up, but if I’m being honest, I didn’t love the work. I loved soccer. I loved being a kid. Construction was just something that existed in the background of my life.
That all changed during my first semester of college.
My father was diagnosed with a brain tumor—cancer—and everything shifted overnight. As the oldest of four, I watched my mom look at me and ask a question no young man is ever fully prepared to answer: “What are we going to do?”
I knew the truth before I ever said it out loud.
The only skill I had that could provide for our family and keep the mortgage paid was construction.
So I picked up the phone and called everyone I could think of. I showed up with a broom in my hand, willing to do whatever it took. What started as survival became purpose—one job, one relationship, and one hard lesson at a time.
Today, my wife and I, along with our two sons, own Kingdom Care Roofing & Construction—a family-owned company built on faith, responsibility, and excellence. Our belief is simple: every roof deserves a crown.
Our mission goes far beyond roofing and construction, We exist to restore integrity to an industry that has lost trust, and to bridge the gap between contractor and client—where communication is clear, expectations are honored, and excellence is the standard, not the exception.
This isn’t just construction.
It’s legacy.
It’s responsibility.
And it’s our way of serving people well. We are advocates for anti human trafficking of minors and we are partnered with Freedpeople.org where a portion of our proceeds is dedicated to putting a stop to the trafficking of minority locally.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
“This is construction—so no, it’s almost never smooth. Challenges are part of the work. But as professionals, our responsibility isn’t to be surprised by obstacles; it’s to anticipate them and already have solutions in place.
What I’ve learned over the years is that strong project management makes all the difference. Being hands-on, staying involved, and communicating clearly with clients, teams, and partners is absolutely critical. When communication is strong, most problems can be handled before they ever become issues.
And when you have the right people in the right roles, on the right projects, that’s where things begin to run smoothly. That’s also where you start to see the separation between average contractors and true professionals.”

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
“Kingdom Care Roofing & Construction is our business and we’re the real deal. We genuinely love what we do—and more importantly, we love serving people well. Our culture is built on excellence, integrity, and heart.
While roofing is where we started, we do much more than that. We help families bring their vision to life—whether that’s the kitchen of their dreams, a bathroom remodel, new flooring, pergolas, fencing, painting, drywall, or full renovations. We take pride in delivering high-quality projects that truly impact our clients’ lives, not just their homes.
Service is at the core of everything we do. We believe excellence should be the standard, not the exception. That means clear communication, hands-on involvement, and finishing projects the right way.
Our culture also reflects our values beyond construction. We are advocates against human trafficking, and a portion of every project we complete is dedicated to fighting the trafficking of minors locally. We’re proud to partner with Freed People Without Org to help bring awareness, restoration, and real change where it’s needed most.
At the end of the day, Kingdom Care isn’t just about building roofs or remodeling homes—it’s about restoring trust, serving our community, and using our business as a force for good.”

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Most contractors fail because they put their clients through a rollercoaster. But here at kingdom care, we put our clients in massage chairs, and that truly makes the difference.
