Hi Amanda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My business came about very organically. I worked in furniture for 10 years and my husband wanted me to stay home with my daughter at the time.
That is where I determined I am a worker bee and began teaching myself to build websites to get us both out of standard workforce and into entrepuniership.
I began by building his Auto Detailing website and boosting it with Search Engine Optimization. Once it ranked on the first page of Google I decided to begin my company Premier Marketing Dallas LLC. From here I messaged anyone I could one Facebook to get new customers to build their websites.
I knew there were more ways to get business, so I made a flyer and went with kids and the stroller through Frisco and put flyers on the door. We were pleasantly surprised with the return on investment. This is when I decided to make Door To Door Dallas Flyers. This is the main area of marketing we offer now in addition to website builds, SEO, and digital ads.
We began with our kids on the side of the Ford Expedition helping put flyers on the doors and have slowly built professional crews and a company I am extremely proud of with clients ranging from financial institutions, higher education organizations, healthcare organizations, and more! This year we have branched into all of Texas and expanding to Nationwide doorhanger campaigns!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say there is not a business that does not face obstacles. Growth is not linear or smooth but anything worth fighting for usually isn’t. It has taken pivoting and an ambition to learn and grow.
We tried routes that did not pan out such as doorhanger bags with multiple companies for example. Although ultimately it did not succeed, it was a lesson that in our business clients prefer to be catered to exclusively. Everything is a lesson and teaching moment still to this day. It is the way to grow, stay relevant, and succeed!
