Check Out Jordan Wells’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Wells.

Hi Jordan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Like a lot of people, I was always the one with a camera in my hand, capturing friends, landscapes, and little in-between memories that felt too important to forget. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just taking photos of what things looked like…I was trying to preserve what they felt like.

As life grew fuller and more complex, photography became more than a creative outlet. It became a way for me to slow down, to notice beauty in seasons that were changing, and to tell stories that deserved to be remembered with tenderness and truth. What began as passion slowly turned into purpose.

I built my business from the ground up, learning, refining, and pouring myself into creating an experience that feels just as meaningful as the images themselves. Today, I specialize in photography for couples, families, and brands who want more than “pretty pictures.” I work with people who want their love, their stories, and their milestones captured in a way that feels honest and deeply personal.

Every session is rooted in connection. I want my clients to feel seen, safe, and celebrated, not posed or performed. My work is inspired by warm light, real emotion, and the quiet moments that often pass too quickly.

What started as a simple love for photos has grown into a business built on storytelling, trust, and the belief that your memories deserve to be preserved beautifully.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges was finding my place and refining my style in a very saturated industry. Early on, I had to navigate comparison, self-doubt, and the pressure to fit into what was already popular, instead of trusting the vision I felt called to create.

Another challenge was balancing life and creativity while building something meaningful. There were seasons of stretching myself thin, reinvesting constantly, and choosing long-term growth over short-term comfort. Each phase required growth creatively, emotionally, and professionally. Those challenges ultimately taught me discernment, resilience, and the importance of intention.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a photographer focused on capturing emotion, connection, and beauty across all seasons of life from weddings and couples to families, motherhood, and personal brands. My work is rooted in storytelling and built on real relationships. I’m less interested in perfection and more drawn to what’s real and meaningful.

What’s next?
Looking ahead, I’m focused on continuing to refine and elevate both my work and the experience I offer. My goal is to grow deeper into the wedding industry while still honoring the other forms of storytelling.
