Hi Nidhi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Nidhi Catering first opened its kitchen doors in 2019 out of a small deli kitchen in an office building serving authentic North Indian food. Since then, we have moved to Allen into a bigger kitchen with an even expanded menu serving quality food. Nidhi Catering specializes in North Indian food with diverse menu options available which include Indo-Chinese, Indo-Mexican, chaats, live counters and much more. Having migrated from India, the owners brought those traditional flavors and perfected them producing many items that the customers have access to now. Starting from very small parties to now servi9ng big weddings, this catering company has come a long way. With continuous innovations, the owners have crafted a menu that is unique and offers something for everyone and meets everyone’s budgets. We provide very customizable services with tasting sessions available upon request. The owner is very happy to sit down and help craft the menu to the needs of the customers. Live catering is another aspect that has become very popular. From starting with just one griddle, the company now offers multiple stations which include chaats, pastas, pizzas, Indo-Chinese, kebabs and much more with various set up options available. We are end to end caterers providing all services for your needs.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While we opened our doors in 2019, our business soon faced struggles in the form of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic slowed the business as people stopped hosting hitting the catering orders very hard.
We’ve been impressed with Hi-Tech Foods LLc, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Nidhi Caterers, based in Allen, offer catering services for any size event at a variety of price points. We offer boxed lunches/dinners, buffet-style catering, live food stations, and plated lunches/dinners as well. We have a vast menu that includes:

The diversity of this city is what we like the most as this has allowed us to meet people from so many different backgrounds and learn so many new aspects of different cuisines. We also love the ease at which we can find quality ingredients.
