Daily Inspiration: Meet Megan Waldo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Waldo.

Hi Megan , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I came into real estate after spending years in pharmaceutical sales. While I was successful, I realized I was missing too much time with my babies. I started asking myself where I could still earn at a high level, use my sales experience, and be present for all the moments that matter most. Real estate was the answer. Eight years later, it’s been the perfect blend of career growth, flexibility, and purpose — allowing me to build a business I love while showing up fully for my family.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been an up-and-down road with plenty of humbling moments, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding. The journey has taught me so much about myself — my resilience, my growth, and what I’m truly capable of.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I help people buy and sell homes, but more than that, I sell lifestyles. I specialize in strong contract negotiation and creative problem-solving, guiding my clients through even the most complex situations with confidence and care. I’m known for being hands-on, responsive, and deeply invested in every transaction, managing not just the sale but the entire experience. I’m most proud of building a successful real estate business while still being present for my girls and my family. What truly sets me apart is that I genuinely care about the families I work with — to me, it’s never just a paycheck. I stay involved well beyond closing, helping with all the details in between and making sure my clients feel supported every step of the way.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
For new agents starting out, learn everything you can from people who are already successful and never be afraid to ask questions. Stay consistent, don’t give up during the slow or discouraging moments, and always be proactive about finding business and marketing yourself. It’s a grind in the beginning, but once you figure out what works for you, it opens the door to incredible opportunities and long-term success.
