We recently had the chance to connect with Tiffany Clark and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Good question. Intelligence, energy, or integrity. It’s always going to be integrity for me. Intelligence without integrity can be dangerous. With integrity comes honesty and trust. Integrity is literally doing the right thing when no one is around. Accountability, I need to know I can count on the people around me. I need to truly know that without me in the room, there’s full trust. When someone has integrity, you don’t have to second-guess their words or motives. That kind of consistency is rare and powerful.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Tiffany Clark CEO and principal designer at Tiffany Clark Interiors. A little about me; I’m a wife, mother of 4 (three boys, one girl), I’m an Army Veteran, I served 9 years and I’m Obsessed with all things Interior Design. One of the standout features of Tiffany Clark Interiors is my personalized approach to each project. I work closely with clients to understand their specific tastes, needs, and goals. Whether it’s residential or commercial design, Tiffany Clark Interiors ensures that each space reflects the unique personality and lifestyle of the client. At Tiffany Clark Interiors I pay meticulous attention to every aspect of a design project. From color schemes to furniture selection, lighting, and decor, the studio ensures that each detail is thoughtfully chosen to create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. The goal is to create a home that will last a life time.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Honestly, I’ve always been the person I am today. The difference is, today I’m wiser, more mature, I’m closer to God, I’m living in my purpose, I’m still learning and I understand it’s okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them and don’t repeat them.
The world never needed to tell me who I had to be. I just had to embrace who I’ve been all along on the inside. Once you start to break barriers within yourself there’s a fire that’s lit, we live in a cold world so you’ll do whatever it takes to keep that fire burning.
I’ve always been a determined, driven person, once I start something I have to finish, if I don’t know how to do something I’ll spend hours learning how to accomplish it. I’ve known from a young age I was good at interior design, it’s something that’s a part of me, I can’t explain it. Once I realized this natural gift that I have is my purpose, that spark became a fire.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering makes you real. Success makes you acknowledge what you’re good at. Without suffering there’s no lesson. Suffering teaches you things about yourself that can better you as a person. In the moment it sucks, just like making a mistake. However, it can teach us resilience, to keep going when things are crashing, it teaches us faith, to know that this too shall pass, revert to thinking there’s a lesson in this moment.
Sometimes we want something so bad that was never meant for us to receive. Sometimes we have to suffer to get to the blessing that on the other side. Sometimes we have to suffer because we think we are in control. I’ve had to suffer through many things, the most important thing suffering taught me was to not loose faith.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I’m definitely a woman of God, my faith is extremely important to me. Without God I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Family. I’m very family oriented. I’m the hostess of the family, I love to bring everyone together for the holidays, birthdays and especially random events.
Fashion. I’m always going to have on a nice outfit, nails, hair and makeup done. I love to look and smell how I feel, damn good! When you look good, you feel good. It’s a great way to set the tone for the day.
I love being at the beach or lake, I’ve been going to the beach since I was about 3 years old. When I was younger we’d take the RV to the beach for 2 weeks every summer, we had some of the best times. Being there is so calming and relaxing, it’s my happy place and reminds me of my childhood.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
It’s not what I would stop, it’s what I would start lol. At the moment I love everything I’m doing however, I want to do more. I’d start a bucket list and try to accomplish as much as I could. There’s so many places I want to see and things I want to do. I have so many business ideas I want to pursue. I’d probably live the first five building my legacy as much a possible and the remaining five living my best life touring the world.
