Story & Lesson Highlights with Charles Breakfield of South Dallas

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Charles Breakfield. Check out our conversation below.

Charles, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
The next book and its story. I’ve always worked and storytelling is my full time job now. Can’t stop.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
As the chief storyteller and CTO of the Enigma Series, Charles leverages decades of technology expertise, including security, networking, voice, and anything digital, to bring innovative technothriller elements into storytelling. I have a deep knowledge of World War II history, I’ve traveled extensively, and I enjoy cultural exchanges to learn what makes different people tick. Charles enjoys wine tasting, winemaking, Harley riding, cooking new recipes and extravaganzas, and woodworking.
Charles has helped to created award-winning stories that resonate with men and women, with a fresh perspective on technology possibilities within a fictional framework. We have two technothriller series, The Enigma Series and Enigma Heirs. Two of our favorite characters jumped into our cozy mysteries published in conjunction with the Underground Authors in the Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicles. Their newest short story collection complements their novella, individual short stories. and children’s books. For more information, we invite you to visit https://www.EnigmaSeries.com.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My dad had the most influence on me growing up and who I am today.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Took a beating in building a business and then selling it to a fool. Everything bottomed out in my world and had to start over.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Honor and integrity.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I was a great storyteller.
