Kendall McClelland shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Kendall, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Last year I took the time to rebuild my self worth and to invest into myself. I have the confidence to aim for more. I have put together two big projects for 2026 and am going to work very hard to bring them to life. This is the biggest thing I’ve ever done and carrying two at the same time is going to be a lot but I feel so drawn to accomplishing these things. And so excited to prove to myself that I can in fact do this!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Kendall McClelland and I’m a mom of two, a wife and an entrepreneur.
I work hard to chase my dreams all while being a full time mom!
Life’s not easy but it’s worth it!
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I wasn’t enough, I went three years of not feeling good enough when I was in high school I was bullied and picked on and I really carried the weight of that internally. However after high school I realized I have the power to be the best version of myself and to do whatever the hell I want in life and I can choose happiness. So that’s what I did.
I rebuilt myself, focusing on the things I love about ME and changing the things I didn’t. I learned the value I possessed within myself and I found gratitude for that. It was a hard journey and I just went threw this again last year as I really took the time to look at who I was and who I wanted to be and I worked hard to become that version of myself. I’m proud, because it’s hard.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Having my life thrown on the internet or harsh comments being posted on my socials or my family being criticized by strangers who don’t even know us.
It’s really held me back, I go in these phases where I want to have it all and I’m on a roll posting and sharing and then suddenly it’s feeling like too much and I retract to being private and withholding everything.
I’m not scared of making a fool of myself I’m just so in love with the lack of negativity in my life that I’m not sure if I can expose myself or my family like this?
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Happiness, creating a blissful magical life for my babies. Never settling and getting it all. We have one life to live and I’m trying to do it all. I don’t want to look back one day and regret anything.
My family is everything to me, and I’m grateful to have a wonderful family behind me!
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If immortality were real, what would you build?
A safe place for people… with real food, real people, real connection and care. Our world is so quickly diving into something that feels unsafe and I would prioritize a community that was stable, that was built with love and longevity in mind. A place where children could grow up and parents were looking over their backs or being robbed with taxes for their hard work. A place where simplicity brought peace and happiness and people could be themselves. We’re all on this hamster wheel of rush around work 9-5 do the laundry, get the kids to sports…. Where is THE LIVING. We need to slow down. We need to prioritize our well being and our happiness.
