Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyran Eddington.
Hi Tyran , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
How I started, i simply needed healthy habits and hobbies. I had recently got married prior to starting this organization and realized that I needed a better reason to justify me leaving the house all the time (lol) . But seriously I wanted to be the change I wanted to see . I was currently working for an organization as a community coordinator and quickly learned that , a lot of things I wanted to see happen wasn’t in our wheelhouse. Instead of keep coming up with ideas for the organization I worked for because they was getting turned down . I started my own organization to be able to address the other needs of the community. I had always been an entrepreneur so hopping out there wasn’t a challenge and I already had a real influence in the space so it wasn’t hard to connect well .
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a smooth road so for , My only challenge has been financial resources but that’s just because they way I go about fundraising.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

We building a self sustainable organization that will last even if the government and the corporations shut down . We are really backed by the people and have built a true community with in our organization.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success happens for me when I truly cannot take any credit for the work and impact that’s being done by Dallas United for Good .
