Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Jenkins.
Hi Danielle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
At the heart of healthcare transformation is a simple truth: nurses are not just caregivers — they are architects of innovation, leadership, and generational impact. At NursingInStyle Consulting, we believe nursing expertise deserves to extend far beyond the bedside and into the realm of entrepreneurship, community empowerment, and legacy building.
Founder Danielle R Jenkins, MBA, BSN, RN, CRNI, embodies this vision — a clinician who didn’t just rise through traditional roles from Charge Nurse to CEO of her own Home Health Agency, but who then chose to reimagine what success looks like for every nurse.
Her journey — rooted in passion, perseverance, and purpose — became the foundation for a bold mission: to help nurses break free from the invisible barriers of limitation, fear, and trial-and-error, and step into business ownership with confidence. Through personalized coaching, mentorship, and proven systems, Danielle and her team empower nurses to create thriving healthcare businesses that reflect their values, elevate patient care, and expand their influence beyond traditional clinical walls.
Having already helped countless nurses successfully transition from the bedside into confident business ownership, I am now on a focused mission to guide 1,000 nurses over the next 24 months to do the same.
This work is about more than launching businesses—it’s about expanding influence, creating financial independence, and positioning nurses as architects of the healthcare solutions our communities need. Every nurse empowered represents a ripple effect of leadership, innovation, and legacy that extends far beyond one career or one company.
In an era where health, entrepreneurship, and purpose intersect, NursingInStyle Consulting stands as a testament to what’s possible when expertise is met with empowerment, and ambition is met with a blueprint for success. This is more than consulting — it’s a movement of nurse leaders redefining what it means to care, to build, and to lead.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not—and I wouldn’t trust the story if it had been.
The journey has been marked by moments of uncertainty, calculated risk, and seasons where vision had to lead before results could follow. Transitioning from clinician to CEO required more than clinical expertise—it demanded a complete shift in identity. I had to unlearn the comfort of predictability and step into decision-making where there was no manual, no safety net, and no one to co-sign the outcome but me.
Some of the greatest challenges weren’t external—they were internal. Learning to think strategically instead of operationally. Trusting my voice at the table. Letting go of the need to do everything myself and embracing leadership at scale. There were financial risks, regulatory complexities, and moments where growth felt slower than ambition—but every obstacle became a masterclass in resilience.
What carried me through was clarity of purpose. I wasn’t building for convenience; I was building for impact. Every struggle refined the vision, strengthened the systems, and deepened my commitment to helping nurses avoid unnecessary detours on their own entrepreneurial journeys.
The road wasn’t smooth—but it was intentional. And today, every challenge along the way stands as proof that growth is rarely comfortable, but it is always transformational when guided by purpose, strategy, and unwavering belief in what’s possible.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At its core, NursingInStyle Consulting exists to redefine what is possible for nurses. We are a premier healthcare consulting and coaching firm specializing in guiding nurses from clinical roles into confident, compliant, and scalable business ownership across home health, home care, healthcare consulting, clinics, and infusion services.
What we are known for is clarity. Nurses come to us overwhelmed—by licensing, regulations, structure, and uncertainty—and leave with a strategic roadmap, the right business model, and the confidence to lead. We don’t offer generic motivation; we deliver systems, strategy, and execution. Our work blends clinical expertise with real-world business acumen, regulatory insight, and CEO-level leadership development.
What sets us apart is lived experience. Our guidance is not theoretical. It is built by nurses who have successfully navigated the very challenges our clients face. We understand the nuances of healthcare compliance, financial sustainability, and operational scale because we have built and led within these systems ourselves. That perspective allows us to help clients avoid costly mistakes and accelerate their path to success.
Brand-wise, I am most proud that NursingInStyle Consulting represents both excellence and empowerment. It is a brand rooted in professionalism, integrity, and vision—one that elevates nursing expertise and positions nurses as architects of healthcare solutions, not just participants in them. We are known for producing leaders who think strategically, build ethically, and lead with confidence.
What I want readers to know is this: our work goes beyond business formation. We are building a movement of nurse entrepreneurs who are creating generational wealth, expanding access to care, and reshaping the future of healthcare through ownership and leadership. NursingInStyle Consulting is where expertise meets execution—and where nurses step fully into their authority to build, lead, and leave a legacy.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
My story in Texas began not with certainty, but with courage.
I arrived in Dallas in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina as a newly divorced mother of two, carrying little more than resilience, faith, and a determination to rebuild my life from the ground up. Dallas didn’t just receive me—it embraced me. The city, its people, and its opportunities became the foundation upon which I rebuilt, reimagined, and ultimately rediscovered who I was meant to become.
Because Dallas poured into me, I have always felt a responsibility to pour back. Service is not something I do—it is who I am.
As my life took root in Collin County, particularly in McKinney and Prosper, these communities played a pivotal role in shaping my children into confident, grounded adults. I became deeply invested—not only as a resident and professional, but as a volunteer, mentor, and advocate. I remember standing in classrooms on career days, speaking to students about nursing, leadership, and the endless possibilities available to them. Years later, students still reach out to tell me how meaningful it was to be seen, encouraged, and inspired in those moments. That impact stays with me—it fuels me.
My commitment to community visibility and service was later recognized when I was named one of the Top 20 Women in Business in McKinney, an honor that reflected not just professional success, but sustained community engagement and leadership.
That same commitment guided my role as a charter member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Delta Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter. We intentionally founded this chapter to establish a strong presence in West Collin County, grounded in service, scholarship, sisterhood, and civic engagement. Watching the chapter grow—alongside the incredible growth of the DFW metroplex—has been both humbling and deeply inspiring. It affirms what I’ve always believed: when you invest intentionally in people and communities, the return is immeasurable.
Giving back is where I thrive. It is the throughline of my personal journey, my professional mission, and my leadership philosophy. Dallas helped shape me into the woman, mother, nurse, and CEO I am today—and I remain committed to serving, uplifting, and building within the very communities that first believed in me.
Growth is powerful. But legacy is built through service.
