Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Foresman.
Kevin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always had an interesting relationship with energy and healing. I was born with deformed legs which would not allow me to be able to walk or even crawl as a child. I also stuttered badly, my eyesight was horrible and developed a severe case of bronchitis. To overcome these challenges, I was taken to a church to be prayed for. As I was taken to the main stage and the prayers began, many congregants of the church surrounded me and lay their hands upon me or help them outstretched towards me as if beaming energetically at me.
The result was a complete healing of all of the dis-ease in a matter of minutes. As their prayerful energy melded with my own, I began to rapidly heal. I remember this as my first experience with energy healing. Years later, I was invited to a meditation class which I attended regularly, and there I was taught the basics of energy healing. When I worked with my meditation partners, they began to relax, their chakra energy centers were revitalized, and they would remark about basic pains like headaches or back pain leaving their bodies and a feeling of profound relaxation in their body, mind and spirit.
So, I began there to help others heal. I do not pull energy out of or put energy into anyone. I realized that I am a conduit through which the healing frequencies flow whenever I accessed the frequencies. I allow the balancing frequencies of the Universe to channel through me, and my friends and clients higher self-knows unconsciously know how to vibrate along with them to balance and align themselves energetically.
I had no intentions of developing these gifts into a business. Years later, I received a call from a stranger I had never met. She had been given my number by her Reiki Master, who wanted her to go and see me, that I would be able to help her heal on a deeper level. She asked if I was an energy healer, and as I paused after she asked, I blurted out that I was indeed an energy healer and would love to have her as a client. She made an appointment with me for the next day. So, I went out that evening and bought a massage table and sheets.
The next day, I set up the table and met her at the door. She was actually my first paying client. I worked with her, and after the session was over, she told me that that was the best, most relaxing energy healing experience she had ever had. She paid me, booked a second session for the next week, and… I was in business. I started advertising through the internet and word of mouth from my clients, Now, I’ve been in the business professionally for about 5 years.
A few months later, I was called by a talent agency to interview a man named Dr. Eric Pearl for a podcast. I had been in the radio business and had done some podcasting and interviewing on a variety of spiritual subjects. I interviewed Dr. Pearl, and he basically introduced me to his way of energetic healing called Reconnective Healing. He explained the concepts in very simple language. His technique is devoid of ritual or any religious dogma. For me, it is the most amazing experience to learn reconnective healing and incorporate this technique with my own natural healing abilities.
My wife Lisa were engaged to be married, but we had called it off and were separated. After this interview, I contacted her, told her about Dr. Pearl and his reconnective healing, and she was interested in training together to learn from reconnective healing. My wife and I trained directly with Dr. Pearl and his staff over the course of 18 months to become entrained into the Reconnective frequencies and properly perform reconnective energy healing.
Since then, we have served hundreds of clients at our office, their homes and offices, and through distance healing for clients who could not make it to our location or live in another part of the world. I believe that reconnective healing help heals our relationship. We are now married and share this amazing business together, as well as our other company, Massage Integration, a mobile massage service that brings chair and table massage to your home, office, hotel or event in Austin, Dallas and Houston, TX.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being located in the Medical District area of Dallas has brought us many doctors and nurses in the area to our door. They are asked questions by their patients about Reiki, energy healing, crystals and chakra balancing as possibilities for an alternative but complementary healing therapy. They are so interested to learn about what we do and how they can learn about the chakras and energy healing.
Unfortunately, they are afraid to discuss this with family or fellow medical professionals and be possibly branded as a “witch” or unprofessional. They would like to give us rave reviews on social media, but cannot risk posting about their positive experiences. No one can know they are exploring energy healing. We totally respect our clients right to privacy, and all of our sessions are private and confidential. I think that our world consciousness is rapidly changing, evolving and we are all, especially the medical profession, looking for healing alternatives that are cost-effective, more personal and could possibly be a great pain management alternative to prescription drugs and opiates.
Soon energy healing will be a more accepted and appreciated healing therapy devoid of any stigma or ignorance. That is my hope and we work towards that goal daily by providing professional and responsible, results-oriented energy healing services that achieve a high standard of alternative healing. My wife Lisa deserves a lot of credit for my success. We met in a meditation group and was one of the first people I met who understood and appreciated energy healing and my gift for it. Lisa is an amazing massage therapist and a Reiki Master herself. When I talked to her about reconnective healing, she didn’t think that I was crazy and joined me in the process of training in this modality. As the owner of Massage Integration, she helped my guide Health reconnection and has always provided great, practical business advice.
My mom was very influential as well. Her name was Mary and she was a prayer warrior. She believed that Jesus could and would heal me, and she took me to the First Assembly of God Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma where I experienced my first healing. I believe she had the power and she passed it down to me indirectly. Without her example of unwavering faith in her beliefs, I would not be able to have developed into the energy healer I’ve become today.
I also would like to thank Dr. Pearl for training my wife and I in reconnective healing. The interview he granted me years ago was a radical point of change and awakening for me in my life. His teachings, especially in his book ” The Reconnection” guide me daily. He has helped to provide me with a vocation I am thrilled to perform each and every day.
