Meet Jennifer Soto of Soto Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Soto.

Hi Jennifer , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a first-generation Latina immigrant, so my journey into chiropractic wasn’t just about choosing a career, it was about honoring sacrifice.
Growing up, I watched my family work incredibly hard to create opportunities that didn’t exist for them. Education wasn’t just encouraged in our home, it was everything. From a young age, I knew that whatever I chose to do, I wanted it to matter. I wanted to build something of my own that reflected both compassion and strength.
My path into chiropractic started with a deep fascination for how the body heals and how much pain can quietly affect someone’s confidence and quality of life. But the road wasn’t easy. Chiropractic school pushed me in ways I wasn’t prepared for. From the long nights, self-doubt, financial pressure, and the weight of being the first in my family navigating this world. There were moments I questioned myself, but quitting was never an option. I carried my family’s sacrifices with me in every exam, every clinic shift, every milestone.
When I opened Soto Chiropractic, I didn’t just want to treat symptoms. I wanted to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and cared for intentionally. We combine muscle work, stretching, and adjustments in the same visit because healing isn’t one-dimensional and neither are people.
Today, when I look at the practice I’ve built, I see more than a business. I see my parents’ sacrifices, my resilience, and the courage it took to believe I belonged in rooms I had never seen growing up. Soto Chiropractic is proof that where you start doesn’t determine how far you can go.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of my biggest challenges was navigating the demands of chiropractic school while carrying the pressure of being a first-generation Latina. There were financial pressures, long hours of studying, and moments of self-doubt where I questioned whether I was capable of succeeding in such a demanding field.
At times, it was also difficult not seeing many people who looked like me in my classrooms or in my professional spaces. Being in environments where I was often one of the few Latinas made me feel the weight of representation. I wanted to succeed not only for myself, but also to show what was possible for other young women who shared a similar background.
There’s something unique about being the first in your family to pursue higher education and entrepreneurship, you don’t always have a roadmap. You learn through experience, resilience, and faith, and those lessons have shaped both my career and the way I show up for my patients today.
What once felt like obstacles have become the foundation of my purpose. I am grateful for every challenge, because they all led me to where I am today, serving my community with intention, heart, and pride in where I come from.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Soto Chiropractic?
Soto Chiropractic was created with one vision: to provide high-quality, personalized care in a calm, intentional environment. I wanted to move away from the fast-paced, one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare and instead create a space where patients feel truly cared for, not rushed.
What sets my practice apart is our approach to treatment. We combine stretching, muscle work, and chiropractic adjustments in the same visit because I believe true healing requires addressing the body as a whole. Each treatment is tailored to the patient’s lifestyle, movement patterns, and specific goals, whether that’s relieving pain, improving mobility, or simply helping patients feel better in their daily lives.
I am especially proud of building a brand that feels both professional and welcoming. I want Soto Chiropractic to be known as a place where healthcare feels personal, approachable, and empowering. My goal is not just to treat symptoms, but to help patients understand their bodies better and feel confident in their long-term health and wellness.
I also take pride in being a woman-owned, first-generation Latina healthcare business. Representation in healthcare matters to me, and I hope my practice can inspire others to pursue their dreams regardless of where they start.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I believe healthcare and wellness will continue shifting toward more personalized and intentional care. Patients are becoming more selective about who they trust with their health, and they are looking for providers who focus on long-term wellness rather than quick fixes.
In chiropractic, I see a continued movement toward holistic, patient-centered treatment that looks at the body as a whole rather than treating symptoms in isolation. People want care that supports their lifestyle, mobility, and overall quality of life.
I also believe there will be a stronger demand for high-quality healthcare experiences. Environments where patients feel calm, valued, and truly heard during their visits. Healthcare is becoming less about volume and more about the quality of the experience and the level of personalized attention patients receive.
That’s the direction I’m excited to continue building toward with my practice.
