Today we’d like to introduce you to Diemb Lehmann.
Hi Diemb, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my personal yoga journey when I was 21, over 30 years ago. Through all the phases in my life I have been physically active, but yoga has been my constant, because of how it challenges my entire mind and body. Throughout college, working in the corporate world, and while raising three wonderful kids with my husband, yoga has kept me mentally grounded and physically healthy. It was a natural progression to become a teacher and then create a community of teachers and students with a common cause of mental and physical health.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Challenges are a part of life and come along every day. Some days it’s software issues and financial decisions. Other days it’s juggling deadlines for a household. If you expect them, they won’t surprise you. One of my biggest physical challenges I deal with everyday is my scoliosis. Yoga keeps me mindful of how I move my body, and also keeps me mentally sane and positive. I attribute the active lifestyle I’m able to maintain to my yoga practice
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is going to Galveston for family vacation in the summer. As immigrants, we didn’t have much growing up. So to go to Galveston (which was a four hour drive) and sleep in a Motel 6 for a few days was a splurge, but I loved that closeness with my parents and my siblings.
