I have several years of experience working in the remodeling industry, learning the trade hands-on and gaining a deep understanding of each stage of the process, especially in bathroom remodels, tile work, and finishing details. Over time, I decided to start my own company in search of better opportunities and with the goal of doing the work the right way, with quality and responsibility.
While working for other companies, I saw many common issues firsthand—rushed jobs, poor communication with clients, and solutions that didn’t last. That experience motivated me to take the next step and create Padilla’s Prestige Remodeling, focusing on professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail.
Today, the company continues to grow through client trust, referrals, and consistent quality work. I remain directly involved in every project, from the initial estimate to the final walkthrough, to ensure each job meets the standards that define our work. My goal is steady growth, creating better opportunities for my family and team, and maintaining the values that guided me from the beginning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most small business owners, I’ve faced challenges from the beginning. Building consistent cash flow, earning trust as a newer company, and balancing hands-on work with running the business were some of the biggest struggles early on.
There were times when I had to wear every hat—estimating, managing projects, sourcing materials, and still being on the job site every day. Learning how to price work correctly, manage time, and say no to projects that weren’t a good fit was also a learning process.
Those challenges pushed me to become more disciplined, organized, and focused on long-term growth rather than quick wins. Every obstacle helped shape how I run the company today and reinforced the importance of quality, communication, and doing things the right way

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like most about the city is the sense of opportunity and growth. There’s a strong mix of established neighborhoods and new development, which creates steady demand and allows local businesses like ours to grow alongside the community.
What I like least is the pace at which everything moves. With so much growth, things can sometimes feel rushed—traffic, schedules, and expectations move fast. It can be challenging, but it also pushes you to be more organized, efficient, and disciplined as a business owner. Overall, the positives far outweigh the challenges, and it’s a great place to build a long-term business
