Meet Brandon Foster of Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Foster.

Hi Brandon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was raised by my grandparents, and they had a big influence on how I approach life and business. They taught me discipline, accountability, and the importance of standing by your word. Those lessons stuck with me and still guide the way I operate today.

I entered the frac sand and energy industry in 2014. At the time, I was running another business, and one of my employees was recruited by a frac sand hauling company based in Tulsa. That experience introduced me to the industry and pushed me to learn more about how it worked. Once I did, I saw an opportunity and decided to make the transition into frac sand hauling.

An early turning point was securing a master transportation agreement with a major player in the industry. That relationship helped establish credibility and allowed the business to gain traction. From there, we continued to grow by focusing on reliability, strong relationships, and consistent execution.

Today, my focus is on building sustainable businesses, developing people, and continuing to grow with intention. I enjoy the pressure that comes with leadership and problem-solving, and I’m motivated by building something long-term that creates real impact.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most entrepreneurial journeys, there have been real challenges along the way.

The energy industry is cyclical, so navigating market volatility, pricing pressure, and uncertainty has been a constant learning curve. COVID was especially difficult and forced us to operate lean, make hard decisions, and stay disciplined during a time of real instability.

Another challenge has been scaling the business while maintaining strong standards. Growth requires putting the right systems and people in place so quality, safety, and accountability don’t suffer.

Those challenges shaped how I lead today. Each obstacle forced us to be more focused, more strategic, and more intentional about how we build and grow the company.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At my core, I’m focused on building strong, sustainable businesses in the energy and materials space, with Wallstreet Sand Co. being our flagship. We officially launched Wallstreet in March 2024, and we’re coming up on our two-year anniversary, which is something I’m really proud of given how quickly we’ve grown and how much we’ve invested in the business.

We specialize in frac sand and related logistics, but more than anything, we focus on execution. In January 2025, we launched our dry sand plant, which was a major milestone for us and a significant investment in our long-term vision. That project really represents our commitment to building real infrastructure and doing things the right way from the start.

What we’re known for is being reliable. We show up, we do what we say we’re going to do, and we take operations and safety seriously. In this industry, that matters.

What I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built and the culture we’re creating. We’ve made a large investment not just in assets, but in people and systems that support long-term growth. What sets us apart is that we’re intentional about how we grow, who we partner with, and the standard we hold ourselves to. We’re not just chasing growth; we’re building something meant to last.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, the industry is going to move toward smarter, safer, and more efficient operations. There’s going to be less tolerance for outdated processes and more demand for innovation that actually solves problems, especially around safety, cost, and logistics.

One of the biggest shifts will be reducing trucks on the road. That’s better for communities, safer for drivers, and more efficient for operators. This is an area where we’re already ahead, using patented processes that eliminate the need for large fleets of haul trucks while improving quality control.

Quality is also going to matter more than ever. Customers want consistency and transparency, not just supply. How sand is processed, screened, and delivered will continue to separate leaders from everyone else.

We’re not just watching these changes happen, we’re building for them. By putting customer quality, pricing, safety, and people first, we’re positioning Wallstreet to be part of where the industry is going, not where it’s been.
