Today we’d like to introduce you to Eul Speed.
Hi Eul, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Let’s start this journey at Langston University when my successful road all started. 2001 I graduate from Langston University as an All American Scholar and National Dean’s list 1999-2001. Right before I graduated I bought a lil pit bull (Shaaki RIP) and wanted to work her out but did not want to tie heavy object to her neck and potential hurt and damage her. I use to wear a weighted vest when playing basketball in college and still do today, so I looked at my weighted human vest and created my own weighted vest for dogs and it has been a uniquely different product that I have been able to create from scratch get patents and trademarks to selling it on the internet worldwide.

After graduating college I started refereeing basketball for some years from the YMCA little kids to Jr. College and people use to tell me all the time you are very good with kids you should look into teaching. So I went to FWISD and they did not let me leave. I knew several people there already told me what to do to get my certification and got it done. My first year I was Substitute of the year recognized in Fort Worth newspaper. I start my first teaching job at my old high school. I was walking down the hall substituting and a lady saw me from the back and said Eul Speed I turn around it was Mrs. Thomas my 9th grade teacher it was her first year we use to give her hell in Special Ed class LOL. I went with her and worked there a year before I went on with my teaching career thank you Mrs. Thomas (RIP) for hooking me up. Now I teach the kind of Special Education class just like the one I was in, so this proves anyone can be what they want as long as you get your mind right and it took some time but I finally got my mind right around age 23-24 and went on to do great things with my life. Teaching for FWISD 20+ years now.
One more thing that is special to me. I created my own app from an idea I had which is a interactive Movie Game Trivia called CASH OVER CONCENTRATION©. It has 10-Second Movie Clips that you answering questions A B C D you play against people all over the world, AI Competitions, Party Mode and much more. Players can compete in tournaments to win cash and month cash winners. The game translates in 13 different languages and can be played all over the world. Check it out go download it. I thought of this app many years ago now with AI I have the opportunity to make it real. I also have a 70 year copyright on my game Logos and text script.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

With my Weighted Dog Vest it was complicated trying to figure our what material, how it actually make it fit on the dog with out moving around. What is a good material that last and customers will not complain. Filing and getting trademarks and patents that I did all myself. Selling online is not easy as people think you have to spend money before you even make any at times. I have redesigned my website like 4 times and now it is great but took time to get it right. Staying updated with trends and how customers thinks so I always have what they need.
FWISD:
OMG it took me 3 times to past the test for my certification. I graduated college with almost a 4.00 and that test was hard man, other tan that teaching has been a blast.

I thought of this idea like the early 2000’s and it was a major challenge up until now trying to come up with he game concept with answer choice. Creating 10 second videos was almost unfeasible trying to get short clips was my biggest hurdle. Now with my AI assistant I am able to have my app come alive. Now it is on Google and Apple stores.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have been a high school special education teacher for over 20 years and that is what I am most proud of. I worked at 34 different schools during this time and I also coached basketball at 2 of those schools. My teaching career is my business partner it helped and helps me create all the extra things that I have accomplished. My dog vest business and game app is all able because I use money from teaching to promote my businesses. My dog vest and my game app is my specialties.
How do you think about happiness?
Accomplishing all of my goals each day. I make a list of things to accomplish each day and if something does not get accomplished it goes on the next day. This is how I can do all the things I do I stay prioritized and it helps me accomplish more things than ever before.
