Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Torres.
Hi Ana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story really begins with a love for people and a desire to create meaningful connections. I’ve always been drawn to community—bringing people together, educating them, and giving them experiences that feel intentional and memorable. That foundation guided me into my career in the real estate industry, where I quickly realized that my strengths weren’t just in operations and strategy, but in building trust and empowering others with knowledge.
Over time, I found myself becoming the person people turned to when they needed clarity—whether it was navigating complex processes, understanding digital safety, or simply finding ways to elevate their businesses.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road — but every challenge has shaped the way I show up today. One of the biggest struggles has been learning to balance ambition with patience. I’m someone who loves creating and moving quickly, and there were moments early on when I felt like I had to have everything figured out right away. In reality, growth takes time, and so does finding your voice and your lane.
Another challenge has been navigating constant change, especially in an industry where technology, communication, and client expectations all evolve fast. Staying ahead of things like digital safety, fraud prevention, or new tools meant a lot of late nights, a lot of learning on the fly, and occasionally feeling overwhelmed. But those moments pushed me to keep sharpening my skills and to become a resource for others who felt the same way.
I’ve also faced the very real pressure of stepping out of my comfort zone. Hosting workshops, leading events, or educating others wasn’t something I originally thought I’d be doing. Imposter syndrome was definitely there—wondering if people would show up, if they’d find value, or if I was “qualified” enough. The surprising part was realizing that people weren’t looking for perfection; they were looking for someone who genuinely wanted to help them grow.
What I’ve learned is that smooth roads don’t build strong foundations. The setbacks taught me resilience, the uncertainty taught me adaptability, and the challenges taught me that you can create incredible things when you embrace the messy parts of the journey instead of avoiding them.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At the core of what I do is connection. I specialize in creating meaningful experiences—whether it’s through educational workshops, community‑focused events, or resources that help people navigate the real estate world with confidence. My work blends creativity, strategy, and education, and I’m known for turning complex or intimidating topics into something engaging, accessible, and even fun.
A big part of my focus has been empowering others through knowledge. I’ve developed resources like my “Level Up” education pieces, which help real estate agents better protect their clients from things like email scams and digital fraud. I believe that when people understand the “why” behind processes, they feel more confident, more informed, and better prepared to make decisions.
On the creative side, I love hosting events that bring people together—like Pumpkins & Prosecco, which combined seasonal fun with professional development, or my Galentine’s Charcuterie & Networking Workshop, which blended hands‑on learning with genuine connection. These events allow me to merge community, education, and creativity in a way that feels authentic to who I am.
What I’m most proud of is seeing how these events and resources impact others. When someone tells me they used something they learned to help a client avoid fraud, or that an event helped them build new relationships, it’s a reminder that purpose and connection go hand in hand.
What sets me apart is my ability to bridge both worlds—the professional and the personal. I’m equally passionate about simplifying complex information as I am about curating experiences that feel warm, inviting, and memorable. I don’t just focus on what people need to know; I focus on how they feel while they’re learning it. That combination of education, creativity, and heart is really the foundation of my work and what continues to drive me forward.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is this: you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. So many people wait until they feel “ready,” but growth doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from movement. Start where you are, with whatever you have, and let the clarity come through action.
Another lesson I wish I knew earlier is that your voice matters, even if it’s still developing. In the beginning, it’s easy to look around and think you need to sound like everyone else or follow a blueprint. But the things that will set you apart later are the very things that feel unique or different about you right now. Lean into those.
I also learned the importance of surrounding yourself with people who genuinely want to see you win. Community, mentors, and peers who support your ideas—not just the polished version, but the messy in‑progress ones—make a huge difference. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, seek guidance, or say “I don’t know yet.”
And lastly, give yourself grace. The journey will come with challenges, self‑doubt, and moments where you feel like you’re building the airplane while flying it. That’s normal. What matters is staying curious, staying open to learning, and staying connected to your purpose. Every step—especially the hard ones—teaches you something you’ll need later.
If I could go back, I’d tell myself: just start, stay consistent, and trust that you’re becoming exactly who you need to be.
