Today we’d like to introduce you to Ren Galera.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my journey attending an artist development school as a teenager. Back then I had a fear of singing in public so my coach had me attend The Voice open call auditions as a practice. I ended up being casted on my first try! In 2020 I competed on NBC The Voice and the following year I was on Telemundos La Voz US. Ever since then I haven’t stopped creating and releasing new music!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth journey. I think the biggest obstacle was myself and my want to please others instead on standing firm on what I wanted and saw for my career and future. Now, I see it very clearly and I don’t allow individuals to sway me from my vision.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Latin pop artist based out of Dallas, Tx. I am proud of how far I’ve come as far as confidence in my craft and discipline I’ve instilled to make sure I continue to grow.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was watching my older brother record his friends in his home studio and seeing the creative process at such a young age.
