Price Point Prep started with a simple observation: the Amazon marketplace is booming, but many small-to-mid-sized sellers are drowning in the manual labor of prepping their own goods. My son and I realized that while there are massive warehouses for the ‘big guys,’ there wasn’t a high-quality, boutique option for sellers who needed a partner they could actually talk to. We decided to launch Price Point Prep right here in Garland, Texas, to provide that ‘white-glove’ service. We transformed our space into a professional, climate-controlled prep station, partnered with local commercial docks for freight, and haven’t looked back since.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Scaling a logistics business from a home-based start-up always comes with learning curves. For us, it was about mastering the ‘last mile’ of freight. We had to find creative ways to help our clients avoid the massive ‘residential delivery’ surcharges that come with pallet shipments. By building a strategic partnership with Pak Mail here in Garland, we solved that problem, allowing our clients to ship LTL (Less Than Truckload) directly to a commercial dock. Navigating the 2026 updates to Amazon’s strict compliance rules was another challenge, but it’s one that made our ‘Double-Scan’ quality control process even stronger.

Price Point Prep is a boutique FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) prep center. What we do best is precision. We handle the inspection, labeling (FNSKU), poly-bagging, and kitting that Amazon requires.
What sets us apart is our accessibility. Most warehouses have 1,000-unit monthly minimums; we don’t. We offer a transparent flat rate of $0.85 per unit, making us the perfect bridge for sellers who are ready to scale but aren’t quite ready for a massive 3PL contract. As a mother-son team, we take a personal interest in every box. If a product arrives damaged from a supplier, we don’t just process it—we send the client a photo and help them file a claim. We aren’t just a warehouse; we are an extension of our clients’ teams.

Any big plans?
We see Price Point Prep as the premier boutique fulfillment hub for the North Texas e-commerce community. While we plan to grow our footprint, we never want to lose the ‘family-owned’ feel that our clients love. We are currently looking into expanding our climate-controlled storage for FBM sellers and investing in even more advanced scanning technology to keep our error rate at zero. Our goal is to be the reason 100+ small businesses were able to quit their 9-to-5s and scale their Amazon brands full-time.
