Hi Jacquelyn, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello my name is Jacquelyn Blaylock and I’m 33yrs old. I’m from a small town in West Texas called San Angelo. I moved to Dallas when I was 9yrs old and I’ve been here ever since.. I’ve traveled all over experiencing new cultures and ways of life. I lead a healthy lifestyle as a vegan. I absolutely love yoga and meditation. Yoga, writing, and speaking are my true passions. I’m currently writing a book about the power of the mind. I also run a online store selling women’s active wear. My store is called “Essenceofshe”. I am an inspiring motivational speaker and a spoken word artist. I’ve spoken on many stages to a variety of diverse audiences.
I want to empower young woman so they’re able to be at their full potential sharing their gifts and talents with the world. I want to create a domino effect of inspiration to take action and build a better future for all generations to come. Being a example and role model for young women is vital to me. I’d love to mentor young woman to be great leading figures in their communities. Helping the youth communities all over the world is a huge objective of mine. I’m truly passionate about spreading love, truth and awareness. I constantly look to uplift and inspire others to become the best version of themselves.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As I looked in the mirror I saw another me
A lost withdrawn girl trying to fulfill her dreams
But its not that simple you see
Life hardships can put a cavity in everything
Looking in my eyes I could see a world of blissful realities
Which one’s for me
The path that leads to my contented ending
Set me free from this anxiety
Pulsing through every part of my fragmented body
I seen hope
But darkness filled inside of me
I called out to the girl in the mirror
Break free and silence these demons from your past antiquities
Anticipating these overshadowing thoughts
She clenched her fist into a ball of fiery
And lashed out at the reflecting glass
Glistening knifes diminishing towards the ground
Shattered precious foreshadowing’s of the women she was destined to be
Don’t lose your way in this world of decay
Pick up the pieces and rejuvenate
Stray away from the grim light
It’ll pull you in and portray provoking delights
Don’t lose insight
Because lies are like scars on your soul, they destroy you
Oblivious of your own actions despite the facts displayed for view
So I picked up the fractured pieces of shining reflects
Those were the demons that haunted my intellect
And the land of the lost souls

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Currently I’m a full time content creator for nearly 5 years now. I’m known for yoga and body/mind wellness. I’m most proud of my daughter. She’s 3. My drive, discipline and dedication to continue to grow and expand my mind and body sets me apart from most because I will not stop until I achieve my goals.
