Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My first career was as a professional ballroom dancer. I have very fair skin and so I lived half my life in a spray tan for all of my competitions and performances. I LOVED how I felt with a tan. It made my muscles look more defined, my smile looked whiter and even made my eyes stand out more.
When I got married, I was ready to switch gears to a new career that gave me a more flexible schedule. Spray tanning seemed like a perfect fit.
My favorite part of teaching dance was helping women feel confident and beautiful in their own bodies. Now, I get to do that through a spray tan.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My favorite part of what I do is tanning my wonderful clients. I love getting to meet new people and help them feel beautiful. The most challenging part has been finding the best avenue to share my business and curating a brand and online presence.

One thing you should know when looking for a great spray tan artist is that spray tan solutions are not one size fits all. I specialize in creating custom blends for my clients to ensure they have a beautiful glow that leaves them looking perfectly sun kissed, not like they got an orange fake tan!
Because of this, I get the privilege of working with many brides for their wedding day. On a day that is so special (and likely the most photographed day of your life!) you can not afford to have a tan that leaves you looking like a tangerine. A natural glow that compliments your skin tone with the right blend of undertones is key!
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
The most important thing is to surround yourself with people who are smarter and further along than you. People who are positive and open minded. You become like the people you spend the most time with, so choose wisely.
