Life & Work with Rylin Rossano of Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rylin Rossano.

Hi Rylin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
started my journey at a really young age, shaped by both passion and adversity. I graduated high school early at 15 while navigating chronic health challenges, including POTS and dysautonomia, which forced me to slow down in a world that constantly pushes you to speed up. What initially felt like a setback became a turning point—I learned how to truly take care of my body, my mind, and my life.

Through that process, I began sharing my experiences online, blending wellness, nutrition, mental health, and real-life honesty in a way that felt both educational and deeply human. That eventually grew into my platform and podcast, Take Care of Your Body by Ry, which has now reached millions globally.

I’ve since become a published author, using my writing to turn lived experiences—healing, heartbreak, growth—into something meaningful for others. My work focuses on helping people feel less alone while also giving them practical tools and perspective to better understand themselves.

Today, I continue to grow my brand at the intersection of wellness, storytelling, and digital media. Everything I create is rooted in authenticity, emotional intelligence, and the belief that taking care of yourself is not a luxury—it’s essential.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—and honestly, I don’t think the most meaningful journeys ever are.

A lot of my path has been shaped by navigating chronic illness at a young age. Dealing with POTS and dysautonomia forced me to slow down in ways that felt frustrating and isolating at times, especially when it impacted my energy, my routines, and even my ability to show up consistently. There were moments where I had to cancel plans, step back from opportunities, or rethink what my future would look like.

Beyond the physical side, there were also emotional challenges—learning how to rebuild my sense of self, set boundaries, and heal from experiences that affected my confidence and trust. Growing a platform while going through personal growth in real time isn’t always easy. You’re figuring things out while also being seen.

There were times I questioned myself, my work, and whether I was doing enough or moving fast enough. But those moments ended up shaping me the most. They taught me resilience, self-awareness, and how to create from a place of authenticity rather than pressure.

Looking back, the struggles weren’t setbacks—they were what gave my work depth, purpose, and the ability to actually connect with people in a real way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a health and wellness creator, author, and podcast host focused on bridging the gap between science and real life. My work lives at the intersection of nutrition, mental health, chronic illness, and self-growth—delivered in a way that feels both informative and emotionally safe.

I specialize in taking complex topics—like body image, nervous system regulation, or the impact of chronic illness—and translating them into content that people can actually understand and apply to their lives. Through my podcast, Take Care of Your Body by Ry, and my writing, I aim to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and less alone while also learning something valuable.

I think I’m known for my honesty. I don’t present a perfect version of wellness—I share the reality of it, including the hard days, the setbacks, and the growth that comes with them. That balance of vulnerability and education is what allows my audience to connect deeply with my work.

What I’m most proud of is the impact. Reaching millions of listeners globally is incredible, but what matters most to me are the messages from people who say they feel understood, or that something I shared helped them take better care of themselves.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend emotional depth with education. I’m not just sharing information—I’m creating an experience. My work is rooted in lived experience, which gives it a level of authenticity that can’t be replicated. I want people to not only learn from my content, but to feel something when they engage with it.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
What I’m most proud of is not just the reach—although connecting with millions globally is something I’m incredibly grateful for—but the community that has grown alongside me, both on and off social media. From the people who message me saying they feel less alone, to the real-life support systems that have shaped me, like my best friend’s, and my mom who have been a grounding presence in my life, my work has always been rooted in connection.

something valuable.

A lot of my perspective is shaped by my life experiences. I was raised by a single mom, and growing up without a father taught me resilience, independence, and how to find strength within myself at a young age, I give my mom props to setting a good example in what it looks like to be a strong independent woman.

A huge part of my journey was also inspired by my high school journalism teacher, Corrine Debacher, who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. She encouraged me to find my voice and ultimately inspired me to start my podcast. Her impact continues to guide the way I show up and create.
