Hi Lauren , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey in event planning & design from a genuine love for creating meaningful parties for my daughters birthday celebrations. What began as helping with small events, mostly balloon design quickly grew into something I realized I was truly passionate about. I’ve always had an eye for detail and organization, but more importantly, I love bringing someone’s vision to life and making them feel taken care of throughout the process.
As I gained more experience, I began taking on larger events and eventually stepped into running my own business. That transition pushed me to grow not only creatively, but also professionally—learning how to manage clients, timelines, budgets, and the unexpected challenges that come with events.
Today, I’m proud to be in a place where I’m not just planning events, but creating memorable experiences for my clients. Each event has helped shape my style, strengthen my skills, and deepen my passion for what I do, and I’m excited to continue growing and elevating my work
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Deciding to leave my full-time job in 2019 and become a full-time entrepreneur was definitely an endeavor. The decision to do so became intense during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I had numerous clients cancel their events, weddings, and proms during that season which really made me take a step back and reevaluate my life at times.
I would question if becoming my own boss was for me. I even took it as far as re-applying for my previous position and was denied! That’s when I had my “ah-ha” moment. I had to think back on all the times I prayed for time freedom, and financial freedom. I didn’t want to be on someone else’s clock.
This was my time! Even though it wasn’t pictured as I visualized it, but it was definitely God’s plan.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a wedding planner and event designer specializing in creating elevated, seamless experiences for my clients—from the initial vision all the way through execution on event day. My work focuses heavily on full-service planning and design, where I’m able to guide my clients through every detail while also bringing a cohesive, high-end aesthetic to life.
I’m known for being extremely organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. My clients trust me not just for the design, but for the structure and guidance I bring to the entire process. I don’t just plan events—I create an experience where my clients feel supported, understood, and genuinely taken care of.
What I’m most proud of is the level of trust my clients place in me. Many of them come to me feeling overwhelmed, and by the time we’re done, they’re confident, excited, and able to fully enjoy their event without stress. Seeing that transformation—and knowing I played a role in one of the most important moments of their lives—is incredibly rewarding.
What sets me apart is my ability to balance both the creative and logistical sides of planning. I bring a strong design perspective, but I also run a very structured, organized process behind the scenes. On top of that, I build real relationships with my clients—I don’t treat them like transactions. That connection allows me to create events that truly reflect who they are, not just what’s trending.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I would just say that behind every event I plan, there’s a real level of care and intention. This work is more than timelines and design for me—it’s about creating moments that people will remember for the rest of their lives.
I also believe that the experience of planning should feel just as good as the event itself. My goal is always to make my clients feel supported, confident, and excited throughout the entire process, not overwhelmed.
This past March, we celebrated our 10th anniversary as Timeless Event Planning! I am in awe of how far we’ve come. From balloons to full blown destination wedding planning and design. As I continue to grow, I’m focused on elevating not only the events I produce, but the experience I provide. I’m grateful for every client who trusts me with such important moments, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
