Hi Meshanda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Travel has always been a passion of mine. My first international trip was to Jamaica at 16, and that experience sparked my curiosity to see more of the world. In 2015, I took a group trip to Dubai that truly shifted everything for me—it showed me how transformative and intentional travel could be. Since then, I’ve been on a nonstop journey, visiting six continents so far, with Antarctica next on my list.

In 2020, I turned my passion into a business and launched MLM Dream Destinations, LLC. I specialize in creating curated, personalized travel experiences—from solo getaways to intimate group trips—designed to make luxury travel feel seamless and accessible.

I’m also an Educational Diagnostician, and having time off during the summer allows me to host group trips and continue exploring. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the connections I’ve made and the opportunity to help others experience the world in a meaningful way.

I believe in living life fully and not waiting for “someday.” My goal is simple: luxury made easy, memories made unforgettable—and helping others do the same.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but that’s where the growth and expertise come from. The travel industry is dynamic, and it demands a constant awareness of what’s happening globally. Factors like rising fuel costs, economic shifts, and international tensions don’t just make headlines—they directly impact how, when, and where people travel. Navigating that in real time requires strategy, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they ever reach the client.

What many people don’t see is the level of precision behind the scenes. This isn’t just about booking trips—it’s about designing experiences where every detail feels effortless. My clients are investing in more than a destination; they’re investing in a seamless, elevated journey. That means I’m constantly refining relationships, staying ahead of industry changes, and ensuring that every piece of their trip aligns with the level of service they expect.

There’s also a common misconception that this career is simply about traveling the world. In reality, it’s about creating those experiences at the highest level for others. It requires intention, expertise, and a commitment to excellence that goes far beyond what’s visible on the surface.

Those challenges have ultimately shaped my brand and my approach. They’ve allowed me to deliver what I believe true luxury is—an experience that feels effortless, thoughtfully curated, and unforgettable from beginning to end.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in FIT travel, which stands for “Fully Independent Travel”—customized, tailor-made experiences designed around each client’s unique preferences, interests, and travel style. FIT is truly my specialty. In addition to that, I also plan a significant number of celebration vacations, along with group trips and solo travel experiences, all curated to match the vibe and intention of the trip.

What I’m most proud of is launching my business, MLM Dream Destinations, in 2020 during one of the most challenging times for the travel industry. While the world slowed down, I used that time to fully invest in learning—studying the industry, building strong supplier relationships, and refining my process. When travel resumed, I was ready to move with intention and serve my clients at a high level. Since then, the business has continued to grow year after year.

What sets me apart is the level of personalization I bring to every trip. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all travel. I take the time to understand my clients and design experiences that reflect not just where they want to go, but how they want to feel while they’re there. I approach every itinerary with the mindset of, “If this were my trip, what would I want to experience?” That perspective allows me to go beyond booking and into truly curating.

I also travel extensively myself, which allows me to bring firsthand knowledge and authenticity into my work. Through storytelling on social media, I take my audience along with me, showcasing destinations in a way that feels real and inspiring. That often leads to clients booking trips to places they may not have previously considered—simply because they’ve seen it experienced in a different way.

At the core of what I do, I’m not just booking travel—I’m creating meaningful, well-designed experiences that stay with my clients long after the trip is over.
