Meet Carolina Moreno of Texas Bank Mortgage in North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Moreno.

Carolina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I initially was interested in becoming a realtor due to my interest in the Real Estate but realized that there were other ways to become involved, specifically in the Banking Industry of Real Estate. This lead me to start working in the mortgage business in 2007 with the help of friends who were already involved. However, because of the Real Estate Crisis that was happening during the time, I struggled for several years like many other in the Real Estate Industry. I would not have been able to continue on if it was not for the constant support system my family provided so that I could pursue the career I wanted.

The challenges that I faced during the beginning years were the tools for my success today. It allowed me to become persistent, patient and helped me acquire knowledge through experience.

Has it been a smooth road?
As many things, getting started in the industry was complicated. Since I was new in the industry during the crisis, I was left to adapt to all the changes happening in the lending industry and had to begin earning the trust from realtors and borrowers, which can prove to be difficult when, at first, one only has limited experience.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Texas Bank Mortgage – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I work for Texas Bank Mortgage as Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, Texas Bank Mortgage has given more tools than any other lender to help borrowers, we offer a broad range of loan programs that are making it possible for many to enjoy the American Dream.

Most of the loans that I originate are purchases for First Home Buyers, I enjoy having the opportunity to educate and help clients through every step of the process in becoming a homeowner.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I have been in the Dallas area for over 32 years and I love it. I love the economic stability and the opportunities that has given me to fulfill my dreams. Dallas allows for more traditional lifestyles, many families don’t need a second income to live a comfortable middle-class life.

I would like for Dallas to have more accessible public transportation.
