Conversations with Leisha Anders

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leisha Anders.

Hi Leisha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I sold my first drawing in the 7th grade. A color pencil drawing of Iron Man. Art, drawing grounded me during my trauma and drama years growing up. 40 plus years later, I am still drawing and feeling grounded. I got here today because I followed my heart with my art. I witnessed how it inspire a better vibe in my environment and helped others.

For example, I played drums for years performance with others and my own shows. I now practice my Drumeditation with others to decompress the mind, detoxify the body, and nurture the heart with breath work.

Believing in how I present my art and gifts for healing to move others in a healthful way is where I am today. I have included other life experiences to sharpen my goal: practice love, there will be love.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Struggle, difficulty, challenges have propelled me as an artist. Hard times haves deepened my gratitude for breathing, for walking, for finding joy as a daily practice. The ones I will share are: Childhood S trauma. Still here. Being car jacked at gun point. Still here. Hysterectomy surgery gone full blood transfusion bad. Still here. Bike crash. Still here. Emotional and mental instability from loss, my brother. We all have and will experience loss. Still here.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Chi Nei Tsang practitioner, Artist, and Educator. My work at this time in my life is about practicing my art and helping others. Art is healing. Artist gonna art. I specialize in abdominal love for our well being. That is what I am known for.
I share my Visual, Performance, Healing Arts. I believe if we practice love, there will be love.

I utilize my love of painting and drawing with my Psoas Pizzazz art class for wellness I created. The focus is expanding your breath and having some fun. I share my love of drumming with others in my Drumeditation class. I think that sets me apart from others because I am experiencing healing through others with my vibrational practice and group chi breath work.
I love what I do.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was active. Took stuff apart and put it back together. Played everything, climbed every tree, and did my homework. I spent the majority of my time outside. I was a soccer player and I played the clarinet. My mom was a cop so, uhm I did not leave the yard (lol, if you get my drift) I am still here.
