Today we’d like to introduce you to Melinda Price.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey started with a leap of faith. After spending 10 years as an operations manager, I walked away from a six-figure career to pursue my passion and opened Tre’Bella Nail Spa. What began as doing nails quickly became something much bigger. I realized I wasn’t just helping women look good, I was helping them feel confident.
As my business grew, so did my purpose. I began educating and mentoring aspiring nail technicians, and that eventually led me to founding She Nails the Future, a nonprofit that teaches teens entrepreneurship, confidence, and career skills through the beauty industry.
Along the way, I became an author, expanded into AI consulting to help entrepreneurs use technology to grow their businesses, and I’ve continued building brands centered around education, empowerment, and legacy.
Today, everything I do is about creating opportunities. Whether it’s through beauty, business, AI, or storytelling, my goal is to show people, especially women and young girls, that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and build the life you were created for.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. In fact, the challenges are what shaped who I am as an entrepreneur.
I’ve had to start over more than once. I’ve faced personal setbacks, business challenges, financial obstacles, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path. There were times when I had to make difficult decisions, adapt to change, and keep showing up even when I didn’t have all the answers.
Owning a business has taught me resilience. It has taught me that success isn’t about avoiding hard seasons, it’s about refusing to quit when they come. Every challenge has stretched me, strengthened me, and prepared me for the next level.
Looking back, I wouldn’t call it a smooth road. I’d call it a meaningful one. Every obstacle became part of my story, and today I use those experiences to encourage others, because I know firsthand that your setbacks don’t have to determine your future.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear a lot of hats, but they all serve the same purpose: helping people build confidence, create opportunities, and change their lives.
I’m the founder of Tre’Bella Nail Spa, where we’ve been serving our community for nearly a decade. While we’re known for healthy nail care and natural nail services, what we’re really known for is creating an experience where people leave feeling more confident than when they walked in.
I’m also the founder of She Nails the Future, a nonprofit that teaches teens entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and beauty industry skills. Investing in the next generation is one of the things I’m most passionate about because I believe success should be shared.
Beyond the beauty industry, I help entrepreneurs use artificial intelligence to simplify their marketing and grow their businesses. I’m also an author and storyteller, creating books and film projects that encourage people to heal, grow, and embrace new beginnings.
What I’m most proud of isn’t just the businesses I’ve built. It’s the people I’ve helped build. Watching students become entrepreneurs, seeing clients regain their confidence, and helping business owners realize they don’t have to do everything alone, that’s the work that means the most to me.
What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in staying in one lane. I’ve learned that the skills you gain in one area can create opportunities in another. Whether I’m teaching nail care, mentoring young entrepreneurs, speaking about AI, or telling stories through books and film, my mission is always the same: to leave people better than I found them and show them what’s possible when they’re willing to bet on themselves.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Absolutely. I’m a lifelong learner, so I’m always looking for resources that help me grow personally and professionally.
ChatGPT has become one of my favorite tools. I use it to brainstorm ideas, strengthen my marketing, organize business strategies, and even help bring my creative projects to life. It’s like having a thought partner that’s available whenever inspiration strikes.
I also use VEO to bring my ideas to life through cinematic AI videos. It allows me to take concepts that once lived only in my imagination and transform them into visual stories, which has been invaluable for my content, marketing, and film projects.
I enjoy reading books on leadership, entrepreneurship, mindset, and personal development because I believe the person you become is just as important as the business you build.
My faith is another daily resource. Spending time in prayer and reading Scripture helps keep me grounded and reminds me that success is about purpose, not just achievement.
Finally, I learn a lot by simply listening. Whether it’s podcasts, interviews with successful entrepreneurs, or conversations with people who have accomplished what I’m working toward, I believe there’s always something to learn if you’re willing to stay curious.
One thing I’ve learned is that growth isn’t about finding one perfect resource. It’s about remaining teachable. The moment you think you know everything is the moment you stop growing.
