Exploring Life & Business with Levi Chaney of Levi The Real Estate Guy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Levi Chaney.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Real estate has always been something I’ve been passionate about. Once I started meeting people in the industry and learning from them, I knew it was the right path for me, so I jumped right in. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so when I went to college, I chose to major in Business. I felt it would give me a strong foundation and help me truly understand the ins and outs of building and running a business. Eventually, my right-hand man, Dr. Greg Grovey, shared a business plan for a dream he’d had since we were kids. That conversation ultimately led to the birth of Kicking It ATX, which opened in 2018 and which I proudly became a partner in. Since then, I’ve been focused on two things I truly love: real estate and Kicking It. Homes and sneakers.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I believe anything worth pursuing in life comes with obstacles and challenges. Without them, we can’t grow. With that being said, I’ve had to overcome a few obstacles in my real estate journey. In the beginning, I didn’t want to record videos to showcase homes because I didn’t like the sound of my voice. But with the right mentor and people in my corner, I was pushed outside of my comfort zone, and I’m grateful for it. As I mentioned, I’m a sneaker enthusiast, so at first I felt like I had to wear a suit everywhere to be taken seriously. Over time, I realized people connected more with the authentic version of me. Once I embraced being myself, everything became much more natural. Of course, every real estate transaction brings its own challenges. The key is to keep moving forward and surround yourself with a strong support system that will encourage you when things get tough. No matter what obstacle is placed in front of you, you can overcome it.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I help people buy, sell, and invest in real estate. I’m known for my customer service, work ethic, and genuine passion for helping people. To me, my clients are never just another transaction. I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions a person can make, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to educate my clients, guide them through the process, and help them make the best decision for their unique situation. What sets me apart is my authenticity. I’ve never felt the need to change who I am to fit a certain image of what a Realtor should be. Whether I show up in a suit, business casual, or a T-shirt and my favorite sneakers, my clients are always getting the same person. They choose to work with me because they trust me, connect with me, and know I’ll always be honest and give them 100%. I’m especially proud that my brand has been built on relationships, not sales. I treat every client with the same level of respect and dedication, whether they’re buying a $60,000 property or a $1,000,000 home. Everyone deserves exceptional service, clear communication, and someone who genuinely has their best interests at heart. At the end of the day, I love what I do. Helping people achieve their real estate goals is something I never take for granted, and I want every client to walk away feeling confident, informed, and excited about their next chapter.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Most people know me for real estate and sneakers, but outside of work, I’m pretty disciplined. I enjoy running, working out, and reading books in my free time. Those hobbies keep me grounded, challenge me to grow, and help me stay mentally and physically sharp. I’m a big believer that if you’re always working on yourself, you’ll be better equipped to serve others.
