Hi Eiasha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a millennial mom, former makeup artist, and beauty enthusiast who found a career in healthcare after my health took an unexpected turn.
Beauty has always been my creative outlet. It’s something I’ve loved for as long as I can remember, and creating content allows me to reconnect with that passion while helping other women.
I created this IG @eiashaj to be a trusted resource for women over 40 who still love the experience of discovering beautiful products, shopping the beauty counters, and learning makeup from someone who’s navigating the same changes they are. My recommendations come from real-life experience, not just what’s trending.
My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve survived cardiac arrest, undergone multiple surgeries, and learned that life can change in an instant. Through it all, my greatest motivation has always been my husband and our children. They remind me every day why I keep showing up with gratitude, resilience, and joy.
When I’m not talking about skincare, makeup, or fragrance, you’ll probably find me watching a rom-com, reading a good book, laughing at something completely random, or rewatching I Love Lucy or Gilmore Girls for the hundredth time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of my biggest challenges is finding balance.
Like so many women, I’m juggling a full time career, my family, and building this Instagram page. Creating content is something I genuinely love, but it takes, consistency, and a lot of TIME.
One question I hear all the time is, “So… you just talk about beauty?”
The answer is yes, but it’s so much more than that.
Beauty is confidence. It’s creativity. It’s self care. It’s helping women feel like themselves again through every stage of life. My goal isn’t just to recommend products. It’s to simplify beauty, save you time and money, and create a community where women over 40 feel seen, understood, and inspired.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I truly love working in healthcare because I know that the work I do supports something bigger than myself. Although my role is non clinical, I have so much admiration for the organization I work for and the impact it has on people’s lives. Healthcare has become a personal passion of mine, and I plan to continue building my career in this field.
When it comes to beauty, I approach products with curiosity and purpose. I love learning about ingredients, where products are made, the science behind them, and the solutions they are designed to provide. I’m fascinated by the story behind each brand and what makes each product unique.
I’m proud that through every challenge life has brought me, I never lost sight of the passions that bring me joy. I found my way back to the things that have always mattered most to me: helping people feel better, whether that is through healthcare, beauty, or simply helping someone feel more confident in themselves.
