Exploring Life & Business with Nataliya Desheva of All Seasons Master

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nataliya Desheva.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In Ukraine, I received my education in design and began to learn how to sew. But my story started when I immigrated to the US in 2002. As I was adjusting to my new life, I continued to grow and adapt with each project. I finally took a leap of faith to open my business, however, timing was not on my side. Opening a business at the height of the pandemic was not an easy feat, but it’s something I managed to overcome. Ever since then, my business blossomed into what it is today: a reliable, efficient tailor shop. One of my greatest achievements was being selected to participate in the Fit to Stitch show on PBS where I showcased my favorite tips and secrets to get the perfect stitch. It was an honor to share my knowledge with a larger audience who enjoy the profession just as much as I do.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening my business went anything but smoothly because I opened in the midst of the pandemic. It’s impossible for there to be a completely smooth road when opening a business. Everyday is different, but I learn and grown from each customer and project daily. Each season presents its own challenges. There is so much to think about when coordinating great customer service and good quality of work.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about All Seasons Master ?
All Seasons Master is a tailor shop. I specialize in creating custom dance dresses for competitions. We also alter a variety of clothing from regular day-to-day basics to wedding and bridesmaid dresses to small repairs. As long as it’s made with fabric, we can fix it.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
