Today we’d like to introduce you to Jocelyn Branch.
Hi Jocelyn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Jocelyn is the Founder and CEO of The JJW Experience LLC and Sisters with Stories Inc. She is a three-time author, women’s empowerment speaker, school assembly presenter, and trauma-informed advocate dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and walk confidently in their purpose.
Recently married, Mrs. Jocelyn Branch, is thriving in a new season of life. Alongside her husband, she co-founded The One Session Series, a relationship platform designed to equip and encourage singles throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Together, they aspire to inspire others to believe that healthy, intentional, and lasting love is possible.
Jocelyn empowers women, youth, and trauma survivors to believe in their dreams regardless of where they began. Her mission is to inspire humanity to become the healthiest, strongest, and most authentic version of themselves.
Although Jocelyn’s life today reflects purpose and hope, her childhood was marked by significant adversity. Raised in a single-parent household by her mother alongside her older brother, she spent part of her childhood in Fort Worth, Texas, before relocating to Pittsburg, California. During her early years in Texas, Jocelyn experienced repeated childhood sexual abuse at the hands of her mother’s boyfriend—an experience that profoundly impacted her life.
As she grew older, Jocelyn struggled with alcohol use, academic challenges, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and depression. Rather than allowing her pain to define her future, she made the courageous decision to transform her pain into purpose.
That decision changed the trajectory of her life. Determined to become the light she once needed, Jocelyn founded Sisters with Stories Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and youth through healing, education, and storytelling.
She began sharing her powerful testimony across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and the San Francisco Bay Area, speaking on numerous stages and encouraging audiences to embrace resilience, hope, and personal growth.
Expanding her impact even further, Jocelyn has partnered with Kids Company Academy to support families affected by sexual assault by providing food assistance and holistic resources that promote healing and recovery.
Through The JJW Experience LLC, Jocelyn offers a wide range of services, including:
Public Speaking
Community Forums
Trauma-Informed Holistic Coaching
Women’s Empowerment Workshops
Professional Makeup Services and Beauty Classes
An Afterschool Mentorship Program
Whether through her business, nonprofit, books, or speaking engagements, Jocelyn continues to create meaningful pathways for healing, empowerment, and transformation.
Her unwavering commitment to serving others has allowed her to reach countless lives, proving that no matter where your story begins, it has the power to become a testimony that inspires generations.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The capacity of my capabilities were discovered later in life. It wasn’t a smooth path, I had to reject the stronghold of fear from my life. I became immobilized by my internal struggles. I listened to everything that told me I couldn’t achieve or accomplish anything. I was aligned with those lies and it cost me years of time. I had to do a mindset change, and a heart tune up, while grasping the horns of forgiveness. I spoke to the little girl in me and embraced the woman who I wanted to become. Once I stepped aside from fear I began flourishing bountifully. I’d say when I got in alignment within my faith & belief and did the internal work those road blocks became a bit smoother.
We’ve been impressed with The JJW Experience LLC. Sisters with Stories Inc., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
